Corner Coffee
905 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN
Crema's Take
“Corner Coffee is a thoughtfully run neighborhood spot that prioritizes quality fundamentals: they're making their own syrups, sourcing fresh local milk, and pulling espresso-focused drinks with real care and consistency. The vibe is genuinely welcoming for both lingering study sessions and quick coffee runs, with solid pastries, reliable WiFi, and a staff that seems to actually enjoy being there. It's the kind of place where you notice the small choices—no corporate syrups, proper technique on pour overs—that add up to something worth seeking out when you're in Minneapolis.”

Corner Coffee was a sweet find while in search of a good cup of hot chocolate in Minneapolis. I was delighted to see them using Fresh local milk. Housemade syrups. And No Torani in sight. I ordered the house hot chocolate with salted bourbon caramel. And when I got my cup, I saw a little sticker with my name on it. I came in expecting nothing. I left feeling special.
had an absolute kick out of reading some negative feedback from certain hateful folks here, solely based on the café’s affiliation with a church - which has absolutely nothing to do with the coffee, food, or service. as far as the actual state of things goes: they do serve wonderful coffee, particularly flat white - perhaps one of the best i’ve tried in the Twin Cities. their pastries are pretty decent, too. the staff is friendly and courteous; i’ve never had a single issue with them.
Great place for artisanal coffee! I went there during a conference, and was surprised not just by the great light roasted well prepared coffee, but also by the efficiency and patience of the staff! On the mornings in addition to pastries sandwiches they have fresh homemade granola, where you can choose what toppings to add. This was a great option for a light, healthy and super fresh breakfast. The staff was so nice and welcominga while being super professional. There is a lot of sitting options, including tables with outlets where people can come and work. Notice that in the mornings it can get super packed (as seen in the pictures) so you might stand in line for a while.
Corner Coffee has a nice atmosphere. We ordered a latte, matcha, and a bacon ham & cheese croissant. The drinks were fine, but the croissant was served cold and tasted a bit dry. It would have been much better warmed up to make it fresh and crunchy.
I needed a chill study spot and a snack pretty early, I got the almond croissant and an iced coffee and my total was $10 with tip. It’s directly in front of target. They have good WiFi and a bathroom, and it’s clean and bright in here.
