Crema's Take

Magnolia House is a charming downtown Prairie Grove cafe where specialty coffee and fresh pastries meet live music performances, creating an unexpectedly vibrant gathering space that feels more like visiting friends than grabbing coffee. The owners, Rachel and Larry, have infused the place with genuine warmth and an eclectic atmosphere that keeps locals coming back, especially for Thursday night open mics and evening shows where you can enjoy dinner while experiencing local musicians.

Ordered breakfast for 2, sat down, nice to have live music playing while we waited for a solid hour...no waitress, nobody asked if we needed anything, no updates on our order...not a word or acknowledgement, even though staff had walked past us multiple times...finally got up to ask, nobody offered an explanation...left hungry, smelling like grease, wasted 59 minutes on nothing...tried to support local. UPDATE, it wasn't really the no waitress staff or our newness but the ordering and paying for the meal we were told would be brought to us and patiently waiting an hour before checking to find out that the order was lost or never made it to the kitchen cook. While there may be no "wait staff", there was staff that brought food and drinks to tables, maybe a courtesy could be if patrons ordered food and are noticed still without food after awhile that same staff that brings it out could check whats going on. Just a thought, we did wait an hour and that's our fault I realize, maybe most wouldn't be so patient. I did receive a refund thank you.

Magnolia House brings a wonderful blend of cozy ambiance, friendly service, and tasty food and drinks to downtown Prairie Grove. Our first visit for brunch was delightful and completely taken to the next level by the weekly live performance by a group of local musicians.

Cozy cafe in downtown Prairie Grove serving local specialty coffee, fresh baked pastries and a full lunch fare. There’s a live music stage for evening performances, Thursday night open mic nights and Saturday pickin’ brunch!

Very special atmosphere (LIVE MUSIC EVENT NIGHTS) Buy the dinner, see the show, visit with the artist. Rachel and Larry have worked hard after traveling the world as musicians to provide a listening room for music and is quickly becoming a community music hub. The coffee shop is adorable and stocked with one of a kind items.

What an incredibly unique coffee house! The minute you pull up, you’re in love! From the eclectic vibe to the kind owners, it can’t be beat! I used to spend tons at Starbucks! Not anymore. This is my go to! The prices are great. Customer service is out of this world. And not to mention the coffee! Grab some breakfast or a smoothie if you’re in a rush! You won’t wanna miss out on this little hidden gem. Stop in and sit awhile, but make sure to visit the homemade gift section! Magnolia loves to celebrate local talent! Buy local and celebrate them, too!
