Magnum Coffee Roastery Café & Store
1335 E Sunset Rd, Las Vegas, NV
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside a massive industrial building near the airport, Magnum Coffee Roastery punches above its weight with a cozy espresso bar and an impressive selection of freshly roasted beans you can purchase by the bag or brew yourself. The view of runway activity pairs perfectly with their thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks and pastries, making it an unexpectedly serene spot to linger with a book or catch up with friends despite being in the heart of Vegas. Fair warning: they're serious about their coffee culture, so come expecting well-executed espresso drinks and genuine coffee craftsmanship rather than mass-market convenience.”

Great little place. Nice there’s a view watching the airport while you read a book and drink coffee.
I've been looking around for good coffee suppliers and Magnum was on the list. When you arrive it's a massive building, then you walk in and it's just a small sales space with a small amount of seating. It was my first time here and I'm sure I looked lost. Unfortunately no one greeted me or ever asked if I needed help. I looked everything over and really had no clue what was what, thankfully a patron gave me a clus as to what was good. I bought 2 bags of coffee and was on my way. Overall the coffee I chose was ok, nothing was over the top but good enough to buy again.
Is the coffee good? How can I honestly tell you, when they serve a double espresso, to be drank on the premises, in a paper cup. Did I ask for glass or porcelain? Of course I did, I always do. I've wanted to come to Magnum Roasters for some time. I watched the owner's video talk about his passion for coffee, and then I receive a double shot in a giant paper cup. So here's how I describe my experience with Magnum's espresso: • acidity: very papery • aroma: that of a fresh paper cup • body: indistinct as swallowed up by a big paper cup • bitterness: that of a bitter paper cup • overall sweetness: oddly similar to that of a paper cup But, do you know the worst part, I think the coffee may have been good, but I will never know.
Stopped by to good google reviews. This place has tons of parking as well as quite a bit of seating inside its location. There are lots of coffee bean variety’s to purchase your own beans at. We each got drinks and everyone was pleasantly happy with each of their drink. My husband enjoyed the brew of the day.
Cute little coffee shop. First off the parking lot smells like heaven. They have a great selection of drinks and a few pastries and cookies. You can self poor your own roasted beans or buy a large bag already packaged. There is a cute little sitting area while you enjoy your coffee. It is a little noisy but is just part of the ambiance.
