“Blackwater is a vibrant neighborhood gathering spot where the carefully crafted coffee and fresh-baked pastries are matched only by the genuine warmth of a place that feels authentically local. Whether you're settling in with a spiced chai latte, trying their creative signature drinks like the Turtle Mocha, or grabbing a warm breakfast sandwich, you'll find yourself among friends and regulars who keep coming back for the quality ingredients and welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a focused work session, a leisurely catch-up with friends, or just becoming part of the community rhythm that keeps tables full and spirits high.”

Such a cute local spot! I love coming to Blackwater, whether it be to study, to work remotely, or to just catch up with friends and play games! Great food, coffee, and boba too. I visit here frequently and have always had fantastic service. Plus it’s right next to Trader Joe’s! :)
Got together with some friends for coffee here and had such a sweet time! Coffee was great and the pastries were fresh and out of the oven :) Super authentic place and kind staff!
This is an amazing coffee shop with very fresh ingredients! We got their house chai latte and it is infused with cinnamon, cardamom, and other spices that really elevate the chai! For food, we got the healthy choice breakfast sandwich and it is amazing! The pesto is perfectly balanced throughout the sandwich. They use real egg (non of that fake egg stuff) and the veggies on the sandwich were toasted well! Highly recommend for food and beverage. The sitting area can get busy but nothing unusual for a coffee shop.
Nice space overall, but my first visit was a mixed experience. The shop was very crowded and visibly popular. Every table was full, which says a lot about how well-loved it is. The space itself looks like an older Caribou location that’s been renovated, with a casual vibe and plenty of seating options. They also offer food like breakfast items and sandwiches, which is a plus. The coffee was just fine overall, but the sesame latte was a miss for me. It tasted like straight sesame seed grounds and was very gritty. It didn’t seem mixed well and was honestly hard to drink. The staff was friendly but also felt a bit distant at the same time. Service wasn’t rude, but it didn’t feel especially warm or welcoming either, almost like they didn’t really want you to be there. Parking can be a little tricky right out front, but there are usually plenty of spots available in the main strip mall area nearby Trader Joe’s. Overall, it’s clear this place is very popular and busy, and I may have just caught it on an off day. Decent space and lots of options, but the drink and service didn’t fully win me over on this visit.
This is a nice Coffe shop and Cafe. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the coffee is great. Tried the Turtle Mocha, very tasty, breakfast filled me up. Nice atmosphere. I came in earlier on Saturday so I can't speak on how busy normal days are or not.
