Crema's Take
“Emigration Cafe feels like a genuine neighborhood gathering spot where you can linger over coffee and pastries or settle in for a proper meal, with genuinely welcoming staff who make both solo visitors and large groups feel at home. The standout feature is their flexible outdoor patio—dog-friendly and adaptable to the seasons—that gives the place a relaxed, social energy whether you're catching up with friends or celebrating a milestone. Beyond solid traditional coffee drinks, they've impressed regulars with fresh, thoughtful food from brunch through dinner, making it less of a coffee shop pit stop and more of a destination worth the visit.”

I was pleasantly surprised with EC. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The Atmosphere was enjoyable. They have great outdoor seating when the weather permits, an interior coffee shop, and a bar with a TV. (Food purchase need for drinks). I love a neighborhood bar and they are hard to find in SLC. The menu is diverse but there is no real specialization. We went for breakfast and they provide a menu with a few breakfast options and other lunch and additional entrees. I don't get the feeling they have different menus for different times of day. My main reason for not awarding more stars was for cold food in a restaurant that had minimal capacity at the time. All the food we had was good, just cold eggs don't hit that great I hope to return and try other options.
Fantastic dog friendly patio! They happily served us outside despite the temperatures becoming a bit chillier. We had the margherita pizza, soup of the day, butter and Bibb salad, classic Caesar and rotolo pasta. The rotolo pasta was a real show stopper, but all the food was incredible. We will be back!
Went to emigration cafe for the first time and had a nice little three course meal. Started off with the summer broccoli salad to get some good veggies in. It was so tasty and fresh! I got the grilled cheese and added bacon in, highly recommend that. Although I’m sure the grilled cheese just on its own would be delicious. Then finished with the seasonal peach cobbler, made with some fresh peaches it was sooo delicious to finish off the meal. Also just a cute spot to sit outside and enjoy SLC
Jon was our server. He was very nice, but he seemed inexperienced. I was hoping to get breakfast but they had stopped serving most breakfast items before we got there. We ended up getting a Caesar salad with chicken and a Rueben sandwich with Cajun chowder soup. All the food was good but I don’t feel like it was worth the $56.94 we paid. The restaurant is nice looking, inside and outside.
Excellent brunch, extra attentive and friendly service, in a great environment. We were able to celebrate Grandma's 95th here, with 20 people for brunch. The staff was excellent (even put her cake in the cooler for us) while we enjoyed our brunch. Drinks all came out extremely fast, and were all delicious. The food took about 15-20 minutes but was worth the wait. Highly recommend their lattes, Chicken & Biscuit, and burgers. Also the millionaire bacon is fantastic. We really appreciate the excellent service and great food, and will definitely be back.
