Crema's Take
“This Mill Valley gem strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine stop and a lingering afternoon retreat, with staff who genuinely seem to care about your experience. Beyond solid traditional espresso drinks, their creative signature beverages and smoothie program (like the Passionate First Date) show real ambition, though execution is still finding its footing. The light, organic-focused food and welcoming atmosphere make it equally suited for post-hike refueling or settling in for a meaningful conversation with friends.”

Lunch today was excellent—fresh, flavorful food and a really nice vibe. The woman behind the counter was wonderful. I had the Kale Quinoa Salad and shared the Nachos del Soul with a friend, both delicious. I also tried their Ginger Palmer, a fun twist on an Arnold Palmer, and loved it. I’ll definitely be back!
This place was a cute little shop to stop by after a hike up Mount Tam! They have clean bathrooms and a large seating area. I got their Passionate First Date smoothie, which I was not impressed with. There was some grainy texture and the smoothie’s mangos were a little raw tasting. The service was fast and the place was cute, but for how much we paid, the smoothie portion was tiny and not worth it for the taste.
Visited Café Del Soul in Mill Valley for a quick bite. I ordered the Carrot and Ginger soup — while the texture was nice, I didn’t get much of the ginger flavor, and it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The Berry Beautiful smoothie was just okay, nothing standout. Worth noting: this is not an exclusively vegan spot. They do serve meat and dairy, so if you're strictly plant-based, it's good to check before ordering. That said, they have a decent range of healthy options and the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. Overall, a good place for a casual meal, but a few tweaks to flavor balance would make the experience even better.
Food was excellent, clean, and tasty. The service was nice and decently friendly. The organic options were very good! I especially loved the smoothie options.
Cafe del Soul: A Post-Hike Delight After a day of hiking, my stomach was rumbling for something special. Luckily, I stumbled upon Cafe del Soul. The place was buzzing with a great vibe. I dove into their famous Sunrise Wrap with tofu – and wow, it was a game-changer! The tofu was incredibly fresh, and I can only imagine how good it would be with chicken. To satisfy the little ones, we tried the Yummy Tummy Wrap, which was a hit! The portions were surprisingly generous, so I couldn’t fit in anything else, but the rest of the menu looked equally tempting. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check out Cafe del Soul. Your taste buds will thank you!
