Leila Bakery & Cafe
6041 Oram St, Dallas, TX
Crema's Take
“Leila Bakery & Cafe is DFW's standout European-style bakery, where every pastry and cinnamon roll tastes genuinely fresh because they're baking with care—think non-bleached flour and recipes that taste rich and homemade. It's the kind of unhurried, welcoming spot where you'll linger over coffee and a perfectly executed breakfast or lunch, surrounded by an atmosphere that feels like visiting a friend's kitchen rather than grabbing a quick bite.”

Probably the best European style bakery in DFW, and I have tried lot of them. Almost everything I have had thus far has tasted fresh and of good quality. I mean, yes there are bakeries with better branding (a certain local chain comes to mind) and marketing, but the quality at Leila's is just better. Plus they use a realy Espresso machine, not a digital one some bakeries have started to use.
EXCELLENT cinnamon roll, one of the best I've ever had! Available in a family pack also. A variety of Gluten Free options available, too!
This was the perfect spot for an afternoon coffee and pastry! The atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, and the coffee was hot! The servers were so nice! Everything in the case looked amazing! Would be a perfect spot for casual meet up, coffee with the girlfriends, or a business meeting. Had wifi! The gift shop offerings were adorable as well!
We got there 10 minutes before closing, but we weren't planning to stay. I just wanted to try the vegetarian kolachees I saw on their menu online!!! and OMG!!! they were so good! I was about to turn around and get more! We also tried other things, to grab a quick bite before heading home and they were awesome, the morning glory muffins were delicious and I don't even like raisins! I still daydream about that Kolache
Oh the quality of the food is incredible! Everything baked with non-bleached, non-bromade flour, their recipes are rich and scrumptious. The cornbread stuffing, made with homemade cornbread and homemade croutons, is to die for! The pecans are not even needed in the stuffing.
