Deli Desires

Crema's Take
“Deli Desires is a beloved neighborhood deli in Orlando that goes beyond the usual coffee shop with a devoted following for their hearty breakfast sandwiches, particularly their signature Latke sandwich with bacon, paired with genuinely delicious coffee that reviewers rave about. The vibe is warm and unpretentious with kind staff and colorful, welcoming decor, making it feel more like a local favorite than a quick grab spot, though the compact space and takeout-focused setup keeps things efficient for those in a rush. Whether you're stopping in for a perfectly crafted coffee and pastry or settling in for their full deli menu—corned beef sandwiches, fresh latkes, and proper breakfast fare—this place has earned its solid reputation as an all-around gem.”

I was just in the area looking for a place to eat. I ordered the corned beef Big Mac. I had found the place ok TikTok so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, I came in less than an hour before closing and I hate being that guest but they were so nice. I would go back just because the service was incredible and the food was amazing. Oh and the place the color scheme is so cool
This places gets a 10/10 all around. The staff is kind and welcoming including the people who come out of the back from cooking. I’d like to start off with the coffee, the coffee is the most delicious coffee i’ve ever had in my life. I dont know what the guy puts in there but i wish i had the coffee on tap. I’ve tried 3-4 sandwich items from the menu so far and all are amazing. I love their egg salad as well it’s perfect and not overly seasoned. Another sandwich i’ve gotten is the LATKE, it’s flavoring is all there. My girlfriend & I always want to try new spots but end up here because it’s a staple in our breakfast rotation.
This pains me to write. Deli Desires is one of our favorite lunch spots in Orlando, and I’ve even given them a five-star review in the past. Unfortunately, our experience last week was a major disappointment. We ordered two sandwiches: a bagel with lox and a bagel with corned beef. The lox was fine, but the corned beef was shockingly bad—meager and nearly inedible, made up of burnt, crispy, crunchy little bits of meat. It was nothing like anything we’ve ever had there before. I immediately called and spoke with Jason, even asking if the restaurant had recently been sold because I couldn’t believe how terrible the sandwich was. After some back and forth, we agreed that I would return the next day for a replacement corned beef sandwich at no charge. Everyone has an off day, and this felt like a fair resolution. Unrelated to the meal, I then had a family emergency—my partner was rushed to the ER and spent six nights in the hospital. As a result, I wasn’t able to return until a week and a half later. Before heading over today, I called Jason to let him know I was on my way to pick up the replacement sandwich he had promised. At that point, he told me he was no longer authorized to remake it, that the owner wanted to speak with me but wasn’t in, and that he didn’t know how to reach him. If he really wanted to speak to me, he had every opportunity to reach out and I would have been happy to receive his call. It’s incredibly disappointing—and frankly ridiculous—to alienate a loyal customer over this kind of flip-flop. Sadly, we won’t be returning.
My fiancé and I are obsessed with getting their Latke breakfast sandwich and adding bacon. Total with auto 17% gratuity comes out to $31.13. Well worth the money. Thank you to the amazing team at DD for your hospitality and consistently amazing food. I also like the Smoked White Fish.
Delicious deli food and sandwiches! I got the corned beef sandwich for my husband and a side latke for me. Mostly a take out place; there are a few small tables inside. Very colorful decorations as well. My online order was waiting for me when I arrived. As others have commented, the prices seem high but looking through the replies it is because tax and gratuity are included, which I definitely support and respect. We will definitely be getting more take out from here!
