Crema's Take

Fergusson's on the Square is a charming gathering spot that excels at turning everyday visits into special occasions, whether you're celebrating a birthday over high tea or catching up with friends over warm scones and chicken & wild rice soup. The quaint square-side location and genuinely attentive service create the kind of cozy, unhurried atmosphere that keeps locals coming back, and their pastries and savory offerings have clearly won over the community. This is the kind of place where you linger longer than you planned, surrounded by people who seem genuinely happy to see you.

Took my daughter here for a Christmas/Birthday Tea and it was delicious! Nice savory sandwiches, and pastries that were soft and sweet. We had the wild rice soup which was nice and harty! Took some to go. The teas were also delicious, we had the Ginger Peach and Apple cinnamon, which was my 6 year oldest favorite. The interior was beautiful, and the owner was really kind, and gave us extra strawberries for the birthday girl. Overall, very good experience and the quality of food for the price was great!

Perfect spot for a shower or any get-together! Such a quaint location and our server, Logan, was such a gem 😃 Warm scones (not pictured as I inhaled them) and chicken & wild rice soup were yummy, but the egg salad tasted off today. We will return!

The atmosphere and ambiance here is so quaint and fun for high tea! Our server was so sweet and kind. I can only give the food 3 stars though, and that’s generous. We got the high tea. The soup of the day was broccoli cheddar was delish. My daughter has the tomato soup and loved it too. The scones were half dry annd half gummy - difficult to eat, and they don’t have clotted cream or jam - only butter. If you’re going to have high tea - clotted cream and jam are musts! Two of the sandwiches were so awful(cucumber and egg salad). The others were just OK(chicken salad, pimento cheese, and I don’t know what the 4th was). The desserts were also just OK. We had macarons(decent, but I make better ones at home), strawberry cake(the best of the 4), brownies and some kind of red cookie that was incredibly hard and dry. I would go back for the theme for a cute girls’ lunch, but I might sneak in a PB&J. 😂

The cutest spot for high tea with great little bites! The salads were wonderful too. It was such an awesome atmosphere too. We went for my birthday and it was adorable. One of my closest friends is also throwing me a baby shower here this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited due to the wonderful experience we previously had here. I absolutely adore this sweet place! They have hats you can wear all over the place with china plates and teacups!

Ferguson’s on the Square is an absolute gem in Hoschton! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing environment with friends or family. We ordered the High Tea and it was such a treat—beautifully presented with a delicious selection of teas, savory bites and sweet treats. The cost was very affordable at just $15.95, which made the experience even better! The staff were attentive, friendly and made sure everything was perfect. With hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, it’s the perfect spot for a midday indulgence. I highly recommend Ferguson’s to anyone looking for a charming and unique experience. It was a pleasure Jim.
