I love the environment and the person at the register is usually so nice. I just wish the food was better. The avocado always tastes off, like it’s not freshly made. And the lettuce usually has some nasty pieces in it.
I love the set up of this place and the food is solid, but the prices are borderline insulting. $18.50 for a breakfast burrito that you have to pay extra ($1.50) for salsa?! Charging an extra $5 for gluten free bread on a sandwich??? I would come here much more often if the prices were at least semi-reasonable. Will boycott until then.
Lafayette Public House is my new breakfast + coffee religion. If you see me there every morning, mind your business — their coffee is so good it should come with a warning label. One sip and I suddenly believed I could run a marathon, file my taxes, and start a small business before 9AM. Breakfast? Forget it. Too good. The kind of good where you stare at your plate wondering why every other breakfast you’ve had in life didn’t love you like this. The toast? Perfect. The eggs? Angels probably made them. The vibes? Cozy enough that I considered canceling the rest of my day. The staff is friendly, fast, and somehow remembers what I ordered before I do. Witchcraft, but the wholesome kind. If you need a morning pick-me-up that turns into a whole personality shift, this is the spot. Five stars, easy.
Really cute place with a great outdoor atmosphere. Egg sandwich was a little bland but burrito was really good. Veggie melt was good except there were several pieces of raw garlic in it? Like full cloves!
The food was so good here! We had some apps (chips&salas and the beef empanadas) which were both super good. The short rib tacos had such great flavor. Also the Bloody Mary was Chefs kiss 👌🏼 The service as well was amazing, everyone was really nice and had great recommendations.
