The Pawffee Shop Cat Cafe
1745 N Casaloma Dr, Appleton, WI
Crema's Take
“This cat cafe in Appleton brilliantly pairs genuinely excellent specialty coffee and housemade pastries with adoptable cats that are refreshingly social and well-cared for, creating a space where your latte tastes even better with a purring friend on your lap. The upbeat staff clearly share a passion for both their craft and feline welfare, and the inviting atmosphere works equally well for solo laptop sessions, casual meetups, or even special events like bridal showers. It's the kind of place where every dollar spent on your coffee and scones directly supports meaningful cat rescue and care work.”

Cool cats in this place. They take care of cats and allow visitors. Cats toys and related items. Money goes to housing and cat care. The Scones and coffee were amazing. The staff was friendly. And the fur babies rule. Check it out. Coffe for a cause @ the Pawffee Shop. 🐈 😻 🐈⬛️ ☕️
Absolutely love this place! The cats are super friendly and love to be pet — total purring mood boosters. The staff are welcoming, upbeat, and clearly love what they do. The coffee and pastries are top-notch — especially the Caramel Cat-ppuccino and Purrfect Brownie. Cozy, clean, and comforting atmosphere that makes you want to stay all day. Five stars, easy — One would call it “the most efficient use of caffeine and cuddles.” 🐾☕️
Great drinks, friendly staff, and cute cats! What else could you ask for! My bridal shower was held here and it was the perfect event space. The cats loved hanging out with us and helping open gifts.
What an AMAZING CONCEPT!!! I absolutely love the offerings here from the delicious macaroons, coffee, to local vendors products (blankets, earrings, clothing, hats, magnets) My grand daughter LOVES it here!! We will be back!!!
Coffee and cats, what's not to like! We've been to a few cat cafes, all over the country, and this one had some of the best coffee ever! The setup was different from past ones we visited, one entrance is the actual coffee house, with a few seats and merchandise, and then the entrance to the right is the cat area. There are windows between both sites, and if you purchase a coffee or item from the coffee house, you get into the cat area at no cost. If you choose just to visit the cat area, it's only a $3 donation per person. Which is incredibly reasonable! You are allowed to contribute more, which is for a great cause. Ended up getting the tuxedo mocha which was delicious, and my spouse got one of the specials iced. Both were very good. There were a few items of baked goods as well, the brownies looked delicious! The person working then the register was very welcoming, and helpful. He seemed to really enjoy his job and have a passion for being there. The cat room is pretty much one area, there were a few small areas in the back, one that was open to an a senior kitty who was 21 years old, and another that was closed off to a kitty that was getting acclimated to the area. We met about five kitties, all different personalities. They were fun to sit and play with for a while. There were a few families visiting, with kids with various ages. The place was very clean, there was seating, and many toys to play with the cats. There were a few employees working, and they were welcoming and helpful as well. Would recommend if you were looking to just get a good coffee, or if you're looking to visit with the kitties or even find a special cat friend.
