Crema's Take

Tucked into New York, this beloved bookshop is a rare gem that layers excellent coffee and wine alongside a curated book collection, creating a genuinely cozy third space where you'll want to linger for hours. The owners and staff have clearly thought through every detail, from the pristine restrooms to thoughtful touches like free pup cups for dogs, making everyone who walks through the door feel genuinely cared for. Whether you're settling in with a $6 happy hour wine, a bowl of soup, or just browsing the shelves with your perfectly pulled espresso, it's the kind of place where locals keep coming back—and where your monthly book budget mysteriously disappears in the best way possible.

Holy wow. Coffee. Wine. Soup! Biscuits. Cozy atmosphere. And books! The only problem is I blew my monthly book budget all at once. Lol. Everyone has their thing ;). And Mary! This lovely woman behind the soup. Her vibe is so welcoming. This spot is a local gem. I joined the book club. Bluest eye. Get it! They have extra copies in stock ! They had to let me know they were closing. That’s how relaxed and into my wine and book I was 🤣🤣🤣. Also. Mary! The bbq skewer sample you sent me home with was so good! Definitely I must add to your already beautiful menu 😘

This place is truly how it is depicted on social media: Warm! Kind’ and thoughtful owners and staff. I love the restroom. Side bar. I’m a public restroom snob. Their restroom is brand new clean. The Little Book Shop is our modern day ‘Cheers’, where everybody knows your name. This is the community we’ve all dreamt about; but did t know it could be a real place and it is. I personally love the Tomatoe basil soup with the pepper jack grilled cheese. I rarely even eat bread and I’ve had 2 in 1-week. I’m proud of Ashley-Hans and Ms. Mary’s family owned oasis of literary -hot Java-homemade soup and grilled cheese yummy deliciousness. Oh! Grab a book. I purchased my very first copy of Bell Hooks ‘ Communion.’

Completely excellent vibes - so happy about this addition to my neighborhood. This bookstore has cozy chairs, $6 wine at happy hour, soup and grilled cheese, coffee, and even free pup cups for your furry friend. They also host events! And the staff are genuinely happy, kind folks who made me feel so welcomed on my first visit and helped me pick out a new book to read. It feels like a neighborhood living room. I will definitely be coming back and also checking out their programming.

This bookshop is adorable! I would like to go back and try the soup and see if I can get a cute table. They are working on expanding thier book collection. I look forward to seeing the book collection grow

Such a cozy little bookshop! The service was amazing and the drinks tasted sooooo delicious! They also had a nice collection of books of various genres so anyone could find something here. A great space to work or just catch up with a friend ✨
