The Morning Grove in Carlsbad has such a cozy, welcoming vibe and a menu that makes it hard to choose just one thing. We tried a variety of items and honestly enjoyed almost everything. The Grove sliders were flavorful and filling, and the tomato soup with grilled cheese was classic comfort food done right. The caprese panini was fresh and balanced, while the chili crunch toast had a great kick and unique texture. The wraps were solid too the buffalo chicken wrap had a nice heat, and the Golden wrap was hearty and satisfying. For drinks and dessert, the candy cane cold brew was festive and fun, and the toasted s’mores was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great

Clean restaurant, great staff. Cold brew is amazing 🤩☕ They also have a gluten free chocolate almond cookie that is shockingly good 🤯 My only complaint is the cost of the avocado toast - $12 for one slice cut in half is quite expensive, I would have loved to have 2 slices of toast. Otherwise, really liked this place and will probably be back ⭐⭐⭐⭐

From becoming a McDonald’s manager at just 18 to spending the past five years working at her family’s vegan restaurant, she’s now taken the leap to open her very own coffee shop in Carlsbad, The Morning Grove. The drinks and food here are nothing short of incredible. The seasonal banana bread latte is a must-try — rich, comforting, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The smoothies are packed with fresh, healthy ingredients, and the lunch options are just as impressive. You’ll find yourself wanting to come back again and again just to try the next seasonal creation. If you’re in the area, make it a point to stop by — and don’t be surprised if it becomes your new go-to coffee spot.

Small female-owned local business and everything is incredible! My family and I came this morning for their soft open and everything was 10/10. Incredible service even with a line out the door, incredible staff, and the food was to die for. We will definitely be back on a regular basis. Add this to your must try list!
