Tutto Calcio Espresso Bar
24 John St, New York, NY
Crema's Take
“Tucked into New York, this spirited Italian espresso bar channels the passion of calcio with genuinely warm staff who love sharing their culture and craft. Beyond stellar espresso, they excel at affordable, rotating specials—think Friday's schiacciata and arancini—and full breakfasts that keep regulars coming back to linger and connect. The energy is infectious whether you're grabbing a quick shot at the counter or settling in with coworkers over properly made coffee and honest Italian food.”

The team was amazing! They had great energy, gave great service, and were happy to share about the restaurant’s culture. They have a giant Italian soccer themed block party at their other location that sounds like it would be tons of fun! Alsoooo I love that their coffee wasn’t American sweet— it really allowed me to enjoy the flavors without having to worry about getting diabetes lol
I visited Tutto with a group of co-workers. I had the pesto pasta which was creamy. It tasted good but I was expecting more basil. The price was good $17. Some.of my co-workers got the panini which most said tasted good and was a large portion which gave them two servings. Next time ill try the pizza. I went back to try the grilled chicken panini and it was so flavorful and fulling.
I had a great experience visiting this week. Every day I tried the special and each meal was delicious. Today I did the Friday Pizza and Rice Bowl special: Regular Schiacciata & Arancini Spinach and Mushroom (vegetarian)
Overall this place seems very nice-- the cafe looks nice, and the staff are very friendly. I ordered a personal pizza and a rice ball, which is their lunch special on fridays. I would say that $11-$14 for a personal pizza is a bit steep, but the rice ball essentially for free makes up the value. The pizza was good, it has a thick crust and fresh mozzarella, which is a departure from typical nyc pizza. I wouldn't say it's better or worse, it's just different, and, with so many excellent pizza places nearby, it's hard to stand out. The rice ball was also good. It's larger than your typical rice ball, and had a good amount of cheese, mushroom, and spinach filling.
All things soccer! Pizza and sports! Breakfast to supper. We walked by and spotted an open door, ventured in and was then invited to order an espresso! We also found out that the restaurant wasn’t officially opened! But they placed our order with a smile. If you want fresh ground espresso beans, this is the place. Friendly staff, and a clean location. Check out their menu and get a sneak peek at what will satisfy your taste buds. Handicap accessible restrooms. I look forward to giving another try for the food next time I’m in town. Until then, here’s to happy reviews!
