This expierence wont keep me from coming back.. but!! I was in Buds on the Hudson twice and I really liked the setup they have established. I walked in and grabbed a breakfast sandwich from the front case they had displayed. Im not sure if the case keeps food hot or not but my sandwich was cold. Here's the catch, the quality of the food was great! Egg and bacon were cooked so well, had great flavor amd wasnt overwhelming with cheese and protein to bun ratio was spot on. I WILL be going in to purchase more food and leave hopefully a better higher rated review. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was comfy.
Bud's on the Hudson in Green Island, NY is definitely a go to!! Not only for the phenomenal food, the amazing ambience, & their awesome selections yet also for the impeccable customer service that was served up with a smile by Daniel. I stopped for a breakfast sandwich, which was egg whites with american cheese on a hard roll and a flavorful cup of fresh coffee with a few hazelnut shots. "Yummy for my tummy". I will definitely be back again not only for the delicious food and beverages yet also for the amazing customer service. The staff was friendly and pleasant this morning, which made for a nice start. Unfortunately, the latte and bagel breakfast sandwich didn’t quite hit the mark. This place has strong potential, but a few execution details hold it back. The bacon wasn’t cooked until crispy, the bagel wasn’t toasted before wrapping, and the eggs were overly oily. A lighter hand with oil and more attention to texture would make a noticeable difference. The latte tasted more like sweet milk than coffee—I would have preferred a stronger espresso presence. Overall, not a bad place, but not the best by any means. With some refinement, it could be much better.
Absolutely love this place! The service is fast and everyone is incredibly kind, you truly feel like part of the family. The manager Tyler seems to be on a first name basis with so many regulars, which really speaks volumes about their customer service. My go-to is always the Chester Arthur latte and the classic sausage burrito, such a perfect way to start the workday. I honestly can’t go a week without stopping in! Love the atmosphere of this place and all the people. If you haven’t yet, you must try!
Hi! I was searching for a special coffee spot on my way back to Albany airport, and I found this one was on a charming island, which seemed perfect for enjoying lovely views. It truly exceeded my expectations! Such a fantastic theme for anyone who loves comics and games!
