The food is good. Service not so friendly and no one cleans the tables between customers so it is quite dirty to sit and eat at a table. Too bad because the food is authentic french with decent prices. No toilets
Love all pastries here the best, I put 3 stars bc when they open first thing there is harly anything out, hard to get the almond crosants so I go as soon as they open and they don't have and I ask maybe in tge oven or how long they don't know thats very annoying when one is trying to beat the crowd, otherwise I have to say they have the best baking goods and all breads but like I said very disappointed the many times I go for these almond crosants at different times and hardly never get and just get out w a scone and coffee, which the coffee is great. This was today at 7:25 am on a Saturday
The best baguette in the city, lattes were balanced and piping hot and the apple kouign amann is delicious - also grab a pain aux céréales to take home; a great sandwich bread and also delicious on its own, toasted with a bit of butter. There’s a community table and a few smaller tables if you’re aiming to eat in; just be ready for it to be busy if you visit on the weekend!
I had been eyeing this place for years because it's one of the few French bakeries that serve fraisier cakes. I was finally brave enough to go in and get one, and the taste was divine. It was simple yet balanced flavors and not too sweet! ❤️ Would love to come back and try other items.
I finally visited the bakery my friend had been raving about, and it truly lived up to the hype! She told me they serve great coffee, and there’s always a line — a clear sign of its popularity. The French owner carefully selects the best ingredients, and it shows in the quality of the pastries and the service. We sat at a table outside, enjoying the lovely +24°C weather. Each of us ordered a soup, which came in beautiful bowls and had generous portions. The soups were served with several slices of sourdough bread and butter, a perfect complement. I’ve been a fan of their eclairs for a while now, they are simply delicious! Today, I tried the raspberry opera cake — it was good, but a bit of an acquired taste. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back!
