Crema's Take

Monkey Grind pulls off that rare trick of being genuinely good at coffee without any pretension—their lattes and espresso drinks are craft-level quality served by baristas who actually care, in a retro-chic space that feels more like a friend's living room than a trendy café. The outdoor seating, reasonable prices, and solid pastries and light food make it an easy spot to settle in for hours, whether you're working or just people-watching in the Greenwood neighborhood.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, good cold brew. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

I think this place will be in my memory. Inn was closed until 3 Pm, 2 hours left, I had big luggage, no option to find cafe. Starbucks nearby does not have table, finally I arrived here. Ice americano has nice and cool to swipe away my sweat. It was nice time in Seattle.

Best Latte I have had in a long time. Barista is pleasant, relaxed, and good at his craft. The sandwich and cake were also really good, and I loved the outdoor table in the shade. I would definitely recommend, and if I was local I would return. Wonderful experience.
