Crema's Take

Robby's is a no-frills Baltimore institution that's earned a loyal following for its exceptional bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches—the kind of straightforward, well-executed comfort food that keeps people coming back for years. Despite mixed reviews about service consistency and portion sizes, there's genuine affection here for classic deli craftsmanship that recalls old-school New York spots, making it worth a visit if you're chasing that nostalgic sandwich experience over polished ambiance.

Hard to find a better bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich than Robby's. Been going there and getting it for years. As someone said in an earlier review, just like the classic NYC deli's but reasonably priced.

People who work or operate this store are not so friendly. All sub looks cheap! I order three times three separate sub all has countable meat in it. Basically I bought a sub bread with not meat… inside is very stinky no ventilation system so far. Wait for my sub each time 5-10 minutes. My clothes smell terrible for each visit ! No more purchases from this store! 👎

I’m from New York. I lived near a deli that made the absolute best egg sandwiches. Needless to say I was a big fan. I went to Roby’s and the gentleman at the front desk was very polite. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and lo and behold the taste was excellent just like my New York Deli! The sandwich was a bit small and only had one egg, but the taste is what matters and next time, which there will be, I’ll order two eggs. The sandwich was done very quickly also important. Just a bit on the expensive side but fresh and very tasty so I won’t complain about that. I recommend this Roby’s deli for the best egg sandwich in Towson.

the place is a hole in the wall. the food is what you pay for.. but i do think it could be a little cheaper. the lady never changes her gloves. i sit in here at least once a week and watch her handle cash/ cards, hand out bags with peoples orders, scratch her head & face, and cook with the same gloves on. the tables are sticky and always have crumbs on them. they do have good tea and lemonade. their drinks are a reasonable price. they have crinkle fries! if your looking for a quick place to grab a drink and a snack, this is the place to go!

This place is one of the worst. You do not get what you pay for. My "Big" Breakfast platter was one of the smallest I've ever had. 3-4 tablespoons of potatoes, and the 2 thinest pieces of scrapple. The 2 eggs together was more than the potatoes. Don't eat here and rude.
