Crema's Take

This family-owned Sebastopol spot punches above its weight with an exceptionally skilled barista who crafts remarkably smooth lattes and pulls consistently good espresso, earning particular praise for their hot matcha latte—described as the best in town. The welcoming crew creates a genuinely warm experience, and while the place keeps a low profile (which means you might have it to yourself), they've built a loyal following by focusing on quality beans, thoughtful pour overs, and creative signature drinks rather than chasing crowds. It's the kind of neighborhood discovery that rewards repeat visits, especially if you catch the friendly team during their early morning hours.

Very nice location. I really enjoyed the vast menu and the employee that makes the coffee at the front counter. He makes and very good latte and is extremely polite and kind. Good espresso, my only suggestion would be to put on a Spotify playlist in the background.

Can't arrest to barista skill as a simple drip type of guy but Avid is good beans and their drip tastes as expected, no major cleaning or water issues I can taste. It's always dead, like drug front level of empty, so not sure how they are staying in business, but works for me. Can always get quick (if aloof and disinterested) service. If you're trying to remote work maybe the sterile vibe doesn't work for you. The deluxe breakfast sandwich is the best I've had in town, actually made rather than just prepackaged. I'm all over some egg, cheese, bacon and avo!

They are an undiscovered place that makes the very best hot matcha latte in town. I love it there.

We needed to do college homework and were excited to go back to see what the brothers had done with the place since acquiring the AVID location. There is still AVID signage and dusty AVID merch on the shelves. Upon first walking in, we noticed that several of the floor tiles are broken and a tripping hazard. Behind the counter is partially demoed and the employees were keeping their drinks and food on the counter. We tried to connect to the WiFi, which was slow and unresponsive. There is no music and no vibes! We ordered a vanilla latte and a pumpkin spice latte. They had three young adults working on the espresso bar, and they were very confused on what order tags they were making. The vanilla latte was an extremely sweet cup of whole milk. The pumpkin spice tastes like burned oranges? We ended up getting a refund and leaving. I really hope to come back in the future and I hope there are some improvements!

Friendly girls, family owned and operated. Location of 3 great coffee houses over the last decade. 2024 award for marginal coffee, and consistently unreliable to dysfunctional WiFi
