Dialogue Coffee & Flowers

Crema's Take
“Dialogue Coffee & Flowers is a vegan-forward café that's earned a devoted following for its playfully inventive lattes, especially their Instagram-worthy carrot cake latte garnished with an actual baby carrot—think creative cold foam art meets approachable charm. The shop shines brightest as a meeting spot where you can linger over meticulously crafted specialty drinks and pastries, though fair warning: the cozy aesthetic doesn't always translate to actual warmth (bring a layer). It's the kind of place where every drink feels like a small celebration, even if the AC keeps things a bit brisk.”

so-so. came for the sweet & cozy atmosphere & it ironically felt like an ice-box inside—quite the opposite feeling i was after. many people kept their winter jackets on. it felt like i was still outside 🥶 the seating area is also too crowded—the arrangement cramped and awkward. they definitely tried to fit as many tables as possible, & it ends up being quite uncomfortable to squeeze in and out (& i’m super tiny!) 🪑 the cafe also just needs general maintenance. while customers are responsible for cleaning up after themselves (fine), at no point during the few hours i was there did anyone wipe the tables. the trash was overflowing with garbage, cups on the floor, etc.—overall a bit dirty & unkempt. 🫧 on the plus, diologue has a unique selection & variety of specialty drinks. i got the everything croissant and it was very tasty. i imagine this spot is super lovely in the spring / summer, flowers & all 🌸
I’m obsessed with this place. The lattes are so beautiful and fun, a lot of options and flavors. Just look at the pics the carrot cake iced latte with the baby carrot?? HELLOO? 😭😭😭😭 and the other pic it was on Halloween, iced matcha with ube cream! One of my favorite spots in the city. The staff is always very nice, patient and attentive to detail, so be patient too this is no starbucks!! its a small coffee shop that you can tell its made with a lot of love and dedication.
Lovely spot to warm up and try out some unique lattes! Everything’s vegan, so it was really fun indulging on cold foams that are just as thick as their dairy counterparts. I had the carrot cake latte which was surprisingly not too sweet and well-balanced. I also got a peanut butter sugar cookie which was soft and filling. There’s a lot of seating space and outlets, as well as ample heating, so it’s perfect to come and read or work at during gloomy days.
This place is adorable! I ordered their carrot cake latte, which is apparently one of their signature drinks. The presentation was so cute and very thoughtful, and the cold foam was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised as I didn’t expect to like this. I also had the “everything croissant,” which comes in a round shape. I enjoyed the mix of sweet and savory flavors, but the texture felt a bit stale on the outside. It got better on the inside, though. A bit too greasy for me overall, but I’m glad I tried. I would definitely try more of the coffees as they had lots of interesting options! ~$15 for a coffee and a pastry. Standard NYC I guess.
This is my new favorite coffee spot in the city, just wow. Everything is VEGAN, which means no more missing out on fun drinks like savory lattes and cold foam concoctions. Everything tasted great, service was excellent, and the atmosphere is very bright with natural lighting and floral warmth (plus the New York City rarity of having ample seating and a bathroom!).
