Crema's Take

This stripped-down doughnut counter lets you watch bakers hand-shape and season each of just four rotating varieties, creating that rare magic where simplicity and craftsmanship become the whole appeal. The doughnuts themselves are uncommonly balanced—bold but not cloying, with a delicate interior and subtle crisp exterior—and they pair beautifully with thoughtfully made coffee in a genuinely unpretentious space that somehow feels cooler for refusing to overcomplicate things.

The place is no frills and it makes the visit really cool. 4 options - keep it simple. You watch them being made and seasoned. The doughnut itself melts in your mouth. Hot take - the glazed was just ok, but the cinnamon sugar was awesome. I really liked the special too. Reasonable price too

While in Asheville we stopped in to Hole Doughnuts and were in love with the donut shop! The staff was so friendly, and the donuts were all made fresh in front of us. One worker shaped the dough, one fried them, and the last spun the donuts in your flavor of choice. It was a fun process to watch and the donuts were amazing, I could’ve eaten a dozen myself!

Coming from Atlanta, I had no idea my birthday vacation would consist of some of the best doughnuts I’ve ever had! Not too sweet but very bold flavors that pair well with any morning coffee. The weekly specialty doughnut really sent my my taste buds to another level and you can place your order at your desired pickup time to skip the line. 10/10 would highly recommend!

These are probably the best American style doughnuts I’ve had so far. They’re just the right amount of sweet and not greasy. The dough is light inside but has a slightly crisp exterior and a good homemade taste. Just a great doughnut and worth the wait. I loved the cran orange especially!

Our first plan was to go on a Saturday morning, but the Asheville Christmas parade postponed our visit until Sunday. I was very impressed. Staff is friendly donuts are phenomenal. I got the cranberry orange and the toasted bagel type doughnut. I love the atmosphere. There is a little bit of a line on Sundays and we had a little bit of trouble parking only because some of the customers were standing in the handicap parking spot otherwise our visit was great. I love places like this to visit locally.
