Dolce Vita Bakery Cafe

Fabulous and truly authentic Italian pastry café. Has grab and go dinners like lasagna, meatballs...oh cheesecake. Stuffed cookies, special cookies, they do lunch specials daily and have sandwiches with LARGE croissants -flaky, buttery, soft, decadent crisp crust. Also have coffee and of did I mention CheeseCake!!

The best of the best in Gainesville. Italian pastries compete with those of the NY bakeries I grew up with. In a city where Italian food is lackluster, Dolce Vita is world-class and I would highly recommend. Cannolis, Lobster Tails, Eclairs, and Napoleans are my favorites, but their cookies and cakes are also excellent. One of my favorite Gainesville establishments.

I love Dolce Vita. Its my go to bakery. Not only does everything smell and taste amazing. The staff is awesome and very personable. I strongly recommend getting there early, when everything is super fresh. The place smells amazing.

The bakery is phenomenal. For some items you need to get there early. It's just a small place, not cheap but quality. Homemade. Not sure about sandwiches but we had a rose roll which they heated for us and was delicious. Quite sure this is a locals favorite. We will go back when in the area.

Imagine seeing this review lol. Suddenly you make it your new next obsessive place to have to visit. 🤡 oh but if you know you know. Came here with a friend. Hmm, for lunch actually. It’s like the food is so good that the non personable service can kind of just be dismissed. 🤷🏽‍♀️ It gives “thank you next” energy.. like a Dunkin’ Donuts … lol but the food is worth it 🤷🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️
