True Love Coffee SJC

Delicious tiny little gem! They recommended a “Date night” special, and I watched the barista grate fresh nutmeg on top. All the ingredients were the highest quality. Service was efficient/great. I would have liked to chat with the two nice tatted men behind the counter, but they were busy being efficient lol, which is what I would have preferred if given the choice. So this is not a complaint! I jumped on the internet just to compliment this quality place. Try it! And OMG the pastries looked exquisite. We were on our way to brunch, so I reluctantly watched the woman next to me engrossed in eating one with what looked like great satisfaction! Also the pic I attached is after I took a sip, so any imperfections are my fault.

True Love Coffee is such a gem. We’re located right above them at The Zoo Studio, and it’s become our go-to spot for sending artists to grab a coffee or a treat between sessions. The atmosphere is welcoming, the drinks are great, and it really feels like a place built with love for the community. So grateful to have them right downstairs!!

Cute little coffee vibe if you’re passing through San Juan Capistrano. Been a few times and they have consistently great matcha. Good service, parking is easy. Looks like they have good food too, though I’ve never tried it! Matcha 10/10.

Got to love a small local company that creates welcoming their places for their community! Excellent coffees, service and atmosphere! Just love this little joint and the team.

Visited July 9, 2025 Passing through while heading back to LAX. We were in the area the other day and enjoyed walking around the area. Came across this gem on Google maps. Upon walking in the decor is quaint. There was no one in the shop but I was greeted warmly by two gentleman that work there. Told them I was a first timer. Ordered a regular coffee, a couple of pastries and bought a bag of coffee without trying the coffee first! But, everything was good coffee and pastries. Which means the coffee I bought will be just as good! (Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the pastries: Ham & Swiss croissant and a cinnamon roll).
