Kahvi Coffee House + Cafe

I can't believe I missed this place for the year I've lived in Eau Claire. A total class act! If you haven't been there - what are you waiting for!

My visit to Kahvi Coffee House + Cafe was one of those quietly excellent experiences that reminds you why great coffee shops matter. They do have a drive thru, which is convenient, but the space was so inviting I parked, walked in, grabbed a kolache, and sat down at a table just to enjoy it. From the moment you step inside, everything feels warm and intentional. Clean design, thoughtful wood tones, soft lighting, and just enough energy to feel alive without being overwhelming. The menu is clear and well curated, the coffee was smooth and beautifully dialed in, and the kolache was fresh and exactly what you want alongside a good cup. What really stood out was the staff. Kind, calm, and genuinely welcoming without any forced friendliness. Even the small details shine, from the handwritten boards to the personality woven throughout the space. Kahvi is not just a quick stop for coffee. It’s a place you want to stay, and “I got you a coffee” really does feel like a love language here.

It’s a really cute space that even has a drive through. The Carrot Cake Dirty Chai wasn’t bad, we had kolaches, which were decent. My husband liked the pizza one. They kind of forgot about my kolache part of the order and kept making other drinks, which to be fair - they were super busy, but should probably finish out an order first.

Every time I’m in town, this coffee shop is a must-stop for me! The drinks are always fantastic.. smooth, flavorful, and made just right. Beyond the coffee, the shop itself is absolutely adorable. It has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and I love browsing through the cute gifts and little goodies they have for sale. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink, relax, and maybe even pick up a treat or two to take home. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re nearby!

I stopped by Kahvi while driving through the area and was quite impressed. The ambiance was great (I love the Scandinavian style), the staff were nice, and the seasonal french toast latte I tried was tasty and well-balanced. This was only about a 5 minute detour from the highway and it was definitely worth it to visit a cute shop with good, quality coffee. They also have a drive-thru if you're hoping to stay in your vehicle. I definitely recommend checking them out if you're passing through or local to the area!
