Crema's Take

This Bryan gem brilliantly blends a serious coffee and boba program with an unexpectedly impressive savory menu, from crispy popcorn chicken to takoyaki and house-made sandwiches that keep people coming back. The calm, spacious vibe makes it equally perfect for a focused study session or lingering conversation with friends, all while you're fueling up on their addictive fresh-baked pastries and well-prepared drinks. It's the kind of place that feels like a genuine community gathering spot rather than just another coffee run.

I adore this place! They have bubble tea, coffee, and fresh daily pastries. (They are addicting.) And it's a great place to meet people or study because it's a fairly calm environment most of the time. And their drinks are top notch. 11/10, one of my favorite places in town.

Good, strong coffee. Well-prepared boba (we both are picky about boba doneness). The standout feature of this cafe is their appetizers. My son and I shared an order of Szechuan fries and takoyaki. The fries were well-seasoned, crispy outside, and fluffy on the inside. The takoyaki had a good ratio of batter to octopus. It was served with a generous amount of katsuobushi with some lettuce on the side. Whether or not the lettuce was for decorative purposes only, we thought it was a nice touch for a palate cleaner.

I’d recemmend their popcorn chicken and fries as the flavor is good and full of layers, not sure if they use the right portion of chicken tho as it should be chicken breast or tenderloin to balance the heaviness of the crust. Brulee boba tea tastes nice as brown sugar and that brulee thing add some delightful texture. Crepe cake is lack of texture as the crepes are too soft. Macha crepe cake also tastes quite artificial. The fillings of the bread also needs to be more evenly distributed in it so that we won’t get one bite that’s just bread but another bite it’s whole chunk of red bean which is too sweet. Shrimp tempura needs some seasoning besides the sauce. Props to the cost-effectiveness tho.

Tasty pastries, boba and coffee. This place has a great vibe, and they actually have space that encourages you to hang out. We came for snacks and treats, but they have sandwiches and entrees too.
