The Remedy Cafe and Bar
492 W End Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC
Crema's Take
“Tucked into Winston-Salem's West End, this spot brilliantly blends serious coffee craft with an evening cocktail scene, anchored by live jazz on Saturday nights that draws local musicians and music lovers alike. The team clearly takes pride in every detail—from excellent espresso drinks to creative takes on classics—making it equally inviting whether you're settling in for a morning pour-over or an evening martini and the Fromage flatbread. It's the kind of authentic neighborhood gathering place where the service feels genuinely warm and the atmosphere rewards both solo contemplation and celebrating life's big moments.”

My husband and I had rented The Loft at Remedy for our gender reveal party. The service, food, and atmosphere were all great. I would highly recommend this for smaller events.
Each place should be authentic and have its own identity. Remedy is that place. Everything they do, it is down well. Live Jazz on a Saturday night? Fantastic. Coffee for the day, excellent martini espresso for the night.
This is a great place to hang out on Saturday night. They have live jazz on Saturdays and I wish they had this more nights in the week. MA y of our friends perform there and it's one of the hottest places in Winstom Salem. In keeping in line with their "coffee shop by day" I just don't think the food is not up to par unless you eat before going. I wish they would e pand the menu with more finger foods like wings or other heavy order ordeurves that are a little more filling and tasty. Even still, we just love this place and highly recommend for a Saturday night out. A great spot for singles too!
5 stars all around, a little bit on the expensive side (no more than Starbucks!) but you can expect that from great atmosphere and independent coffee shop! The Fromage flatbread is delicious!
We were exploring Winston-Salem when we made our way to West End. As soon as I walked into The Remedy Cafe & Bar I was greeted by Natalie, she is a sweetheart. I wasn’t sure where we were going to eat and she was so kind with suggestions as well as telling me about their pizza (it is a cafe, after all). Will have to try them next time. I had a taste of the coffee while looking around and it was good. I asked about where they source from & they told me they get it from Adrift in Wilmington. My husband later came back for a cold brew. Remedy Cafe has a very relaxing atmosphere. I noticed a few women that were devouring a charcuterie board. It looked so good. They kindly let me take a pic. This place is so cute with the books & the fireplace. I went upstairs to explore. Adorable! Check them out the next time you’re in the area. Enjoy ☕️
