Empire Baking
3700 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX
Crema's Take
“This beloved neighborhood bakery is a Sunday ritual for regulars who rave about the exceptional fresh breads, bagels, and buns—though the pastries can be hit-or-miss, with some finding them dry. The small, devoted staff creates a genuinely warm atmosphere perfect for lingering over coffee or grabbing a quick bite, though prices run a touch high and the McKinney location is easy to miss. While the sandwiches and salads show promise, Empire Baking shines brightest as a destination for quality baked goods and a dose of genuine hospitality.”

Often buy their fresh breads, bagels, buns etc, always really good!! Seeing people mention prices, which might be slightly high but quality is good and based on several empty restaurants spots, they gotta make up for the rents the owners charge businesses.
My go to spot every Sunday after my workout. I truly love this place and it is such a great feeling that the staff is also as amazing! Maria is the sweetest & usually it's only 2 people working so don't be mean like some reviews are. Try it out and I'd recommend the peppermint latte! So yummy 😋
I came in specifically for the chicken salad, and unfortunately, it was a big letdown. It was bland and lacked flavor; easily one of the most underwhelming I’ve had. If you’re craving a good chicken salad, I’d recommend trying somewhere else.
I was excited to finally come try this place, but ended up very disappointed in the pastries. The croissant was dry along with the pan au chocolate. I would be interested in trying the sandwiches, but would not come back here again for a pastry. Service was friendly.
Yea!! The best bread in town just got a little more convenient!! Sandwiches, salads, pastries & of course bread are all out of this world! The new location is technically on McKinney but is kinda hidden behind Suit Supply. The parking garage is open to everyone & usually has lots of spots available.
