Crema's Take
“Mother Dough Bakery is a warm neighborhood spot where the coffee takes a backseat to genuinely excellent pastries and baked goods made fresh daily—think butter croissants with real technique and chocolate chip cookies still warm from the oven. The space itself feels distinctly Parisian with modern touches, complete with comfortable couches that invite you to linger, and the staff's genuine kindness makes it feel less like a transaction and more like visiting friends who happen to make exceptional food. It's the kind of place where you pop in for a pick-me-up but end up staying for lunch, discovering that their sandwiches and salads are just as thoughtfully made as their pastries.”

A hidden gem! Super cute place with the kindest staff. I was craving a chocolate chip cookie and lucky for me I received one straight from the oven. The smell alone was heavenly! It’s a thick dense cookie, not too sugary or sweet, and I loved it. Next time I’m in downtown I’ll try more things.
Mother Dough has a variety of breads, salads, sandwiches, and deserts + pastries that make it the perfect spot to have a pick-me-up. Lunch feels much more elavated. My favorite is their Tuna Club Sandwich! One thing that makes them stand out is their amazing staff. David is very attentive, polite, and personable with each and every customer. He's efficient and very skilled as a barista. Having someone who genuinely cares about their customers and their craft is what makes this place that much more enjoyable to visit. All employees are very kind and attentive.
Indulge in Parisian luxury at Mother Dough Bakery. Their exquisite pastries and delectable bread transport you straight to the City of Lights. A must-visit for any French food enthusiast.
Wonderful bakery and friendly staff. Baked goods are made fresh daily. I recommend trying their butter and chocolate croissants -- quite good. Their coffee was fresh and flavorful as well.
Extremely cool location in a modern building, comfy couches and comfortable cool surroundings are the signature of the place. Croissant was an outstanding example of fine viennoiserie with a delicate yet firm buttery crust. The almond croissant was equally good with a not too sweet filling complimenting the flaky pastry. Alas the accompanying espresso left much to be desired. Too large a shot (about 3-3.5 oz) which was over extracted. But the friendly service, vibe and baked goods compensate well!
