Java Jukebox Cafe & Eatery

Crema's Take
“This solo-owner-operated gem in Lexington wins hearts with genuinely exceptional breakfast—think chorizo burritos that demand a second order and pancake stacks so generous they're legendary—paired with specialty coffee drinks like caramel lattes that linger in memory. The vibe is equally special: a laid-back neighborhood spot with lounge chairs, games, and PlayStation that transforms a coffee run into an actual hangout where the owner's warmth and honesty about wait times feel refreshingly human. It's the kind of place where comfort food and genuine hospitality merge into something worth seeking out, whether you're a local or passing through.”

Burrito? Delish. If you enjoy chorizo then it's a solid choice. Such a solid choice that we got two burritos to go for our road trip. Pancakes? Delish. Also a solid choice if you want a fat stack. Soft and moist 🤤. You like bacon? I think they make it with love because something special is going on with the bacon 🤔. We looked for a quick breakfast spot to drop in and I found this place through a Google maps search. When we walked in and saw an MF Doom poster we knew the food would be fire. This place has a chill vibe that would easily cater to your hungover morning antics. The service was excellent - they gave recommendations that all turned out to be delectable choices. Pricing is extremely reasonable given the current pricing structure of just about anywhere.
We had a great breakfast after staying downtown in Lexington. The owner was the only one working but he did a great job of getting orders to everyone and being honest about the wait. We had chocolate chip pancakes and they were the best combination of sweet and salty with bacon and fresh brewed coffee. Veer off the beaten path and try this place-it had a fun cool vibe and was worth the wait.
Loved this little hole in the wall cafe. Food was great , owner was helpful and friendly. The lounge chairs are a nice touch along with the games and PlayStation. Found out they plan to expand into a bar and live music next door by the upcoming new year!
We found a new favorite spot for coffee and breakfast! My caramel latte was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had, and my French toast sandwich was blissfully good. Pure comfort food! The “small” papa bowl that my hubby had wasn’t small at all (they had a big one too), but it was full of flavor for sure. As of the time of this post, one side of the local is still under renovation. Last, but not least, services is just top notch.
The day I went, it was slow since they had 2 employees quit. The lone survivor posted a note on the door explaining that things would be slow getting out. With that said, the was a solid choice for breakfast. There was a buzz in the coffee shop with an eclectic decor. An old jukebox against the wall reminded me of the one in the game room of my local hangout when I was a kid.
