Crema's Take
“Hidden in Philadelphia, this gem celebrates authentic Turkish coffee culture with meticulous attention to detail, serving expertly crafted traditional Turkish coffee alongside an impressive array of specialty drinks and matcha that rival the pastries. The real magic happens over their renowned desserts—particularly the opera cake and chocolate-raspberry cake that strike an impressive balance between indulgence and restraint—paired with a full Turkish breakfast experience that transports you straight to Istanbul with its careful curation of cheeses, olives, fresh simit, and honey butter. It's the kind of warm, personable spot where you'll linger longer than expected, whether you're a coffee devotee seeking authentic preparation or simply looking for an unexpectedly special morning with someone you care about.”

This place has excellent desserts and coffee specifically the opera cake and the chocolate and raspberry cake pictured. A lot of the desserts do contain nuts however. I also enjoyed the turkish flat bread stuffed with spinach and cheese, it was flaky and delicious. Ambience was nice too.
Tried VIP Turkish breakfast for 2. refreshing mix greens with delicious cheese, olives, honey butter and fresh simit with tea is a true Turkish experience. They paid attention to detail. You end your breakfast feeling satisfied and not stuffed. Highly recommend it. Now it’s our breakfast place when we visit Philly!
Wonderful place to grab a drink and sweet treat. Desserts are so good and not too sweet. A huge variety of different drinks starting with delicious Turkish coffee and ending with smoothies. I loved the different variety of teas and I will definitely come back there. The staff is just super friendly and patient. They answered to all of my questions even tho I had a lot of them. Definitely recommend
This place is such a hidden gem. The food and desserts are incredible, and the staff is so personable and friendly. My husband and I had lodging fall through for our weekend in Philly, and we ended up staying here for hours while we got things settled—it was so comfortable and welcoming that we came back every day of our stay afterwards for good coffee and friendly faces! A friend of ours had started losing his voice from speaking at the event we were in town for, and the staff were very kind and offered him extra honey in his tea. We plan to find lodging near here again when we're in town specifically to come here again!
Been meaning to try this spot for some time now since I drive by all the time. I was blown away by how delicious the Turkish coffee and the Borek was, make sure you try both the spinach + cheese and the beef! So so good! They also have a good selection of Turkish beverages!
