Wintergarden Cafe & Bakery

Taylor and the Wintergarden team gave us a phenomenal wedding experience. From the initial tour to planning to the tasting to our wedding day, everything was top notch. On our wedding day, Maddie and Caelyn helped with all of our requests. All of the details were spot on and there were many instances of the team going above and beyond (including giving us timeline suggestions, coordinating with our vendors, setting out our placecards, a plate of appetizers for the sweetheart table, and many more). Our guests raved about the food, drinks, desserts, and coffee bar. We live out of the area so we looked for a venue that would give us a hands-off experience and the Wintergarden was that and so much more! We recommend anyone within 100 miles of Rochester to check out this stunning venue with an even better team.

Attended a wedding here and it's probably the best wedding reception I've ever been to. The atmosphere was special, from cocktail hour upstairs to the vaulted glass and live plants and trees. The table settings were classic and formal and the food was impeccably prepared and presented. As the sun set, the dance floor was perfectly complimented by the uplit architecture and as everyone danced until midnight, it just was a perfect event

OK you guys, I am not one to post reviews but I think wedding vendor reviews are important to help others decide where to get married, as it helped me. The Wintergarden was truly amazing. We worked with Taylor, the venue coordinator, and her team closely as picking a venue is one of the biggest decisions in a wedding. Taylor ALWAYS answered my many questions and usually provided answers to questions I hadn’t even thought of yet. I received MANY compliments that portions were large and food was excellent. I know my husband, myself, and our entire wedding party thoroughly enjoyed the food and dessert table. The bartenders were excellent and no one waited long for a drink. The coffee and tea bar was a really nice touch and an extra expense at other venues but included here. The Wintergarden had a large inventory so I did not feel like I had to buy and rent much of the easels and equipment for the wedding day. We still have people reaching out 2 months later to let us know how awesome our venue was. Taylor and her team acted as day of coordinators for the wedding (I did not have a wedding planner) and it was perfect. If you are thinking of The Wintergarden for your wedding it will not disappoint. Big shout out to Taylor because I do not know what I would’ve done without her!

My husband and I got married at the Wintergarden in April and had the absolute best experience working with the team. From the start, we felt taken care of, from scheduling, day of expectations, rentals, and communication. Taylor’s a true gem, and is clearly one of the best in the business! The food is literally the best wedding food you’ll ever have, and we have had a dozen guests tell us that themselves. You truly can’t find a more beautiful venue in Rochester. It rained on our day and just added to the amazing indoor/outdoor vibe. If we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! This place is such a gem. You definitely get what you pay for!

We recently had a beautiful evening reception for our daughter’s wedding at The Wintergarden. It was beyond beautiful and simply elegant! Taylor the Coordinator and all of the staff were well organized, kind and helpful and were there for us whenever we needed them. The food at the cocktail hour and the dinner (especially the steak!) was all delicious with no complaints. Many guests came in from around the country as well as internationally, and all said they were so impressed that Rochester NY had such a wonderful and beautiful event space! I would not hesitate to plan another event here or recommend the beautiful Wintergarden!
