Crema's Take
“Bolt feels like the coffee shop you've been searching for in LA—unhurried and genuine, where the best coffee meets house-made pastries and breakfast that actually justifies the trip. The vibe is deliberately relaxed with plenty of outlets and green space, designed for people who want to linger, whether you're writing your next screenplay or just escaping the Hollywood hustle. What sets it apart isn't hype but the simple promise kept on every visit: excellent coffee, fairly priced, made with no gimmicks.”

Found this cool spot on a late winter morning on a weekend to LA. This is what you want a coffee/breakfast spot to feel like. It says take your time we’ll be here when you’re ready, no long cues or lines, a succinct and palate friendly menu. The welcoming large communal table near the entry way with a group of patrons enjoying both the company and their coffee was reassuring and created a wonderful vibe. I had the brisket breakfast tacos, perfect, tortillas were warm, the hash browns the perfect consistency, the eggs fluffy and a beautiful co-Star to the in-house 14 hour brisket, perfectly seasoned and unctuous, the hatch chili salsa a perfect acidity and compliment to the package. If you’re in the area or looking for a morning “hug” Bolt Eaho is for you. Mahalo for the perfect start to the day. 🤙🏽
My favorite coffee shop in LA. No gimmicks, it’s the best coffee AND it’s fairly priced. The baked goods are also insanely good, and they make it in house. Good studying areas and a beautiful green patio out back. Nice communal vibe, regulars have small talk with the staff. You can buy a jug of their cold brew and refill it. My coworkers always ask where the coffee is from when I bring a jug to events.
I LOVE THIS PLACE and I'm an award-winning writer with 11 trophies for best screenwriting! Every other table has an outlet. They are super cool about baking veggies. All you to do is tell them, "No oil", and they will deliver. This place is a screenwriter's dream. I wish they were open 24/7. They do play music; but, it's really cool 70's music.(The parking during the week is $1.80/hour; but, you can renew on the app and the timer makes you write faster.) It's perfect! ❤💐🦋
Such a cute place. I had the Ultimate Bolt Breakfast Sandwich, and it was delicious. Definitely one of those places that you go once you can’t wait to come back. I recommend sitting on the patio too.
First time coming here, really cool spot, you gotta try the blueberry muffins which are baked in house, perfection with black coffee. You know living out here in Hollywood, so much has changed but, there’s still good people out here and good places like this one, staff is friendly and offers punch card for every time you come and visit which is awesome, having a spot to come to and see friendly staff and have a coffee with. We had the eggs Benny, and the huevos rancheros, very good, fast too. Come support a really unique coffee and breakfast joint out here, don’t forget to get the muffins!!!!! They’re GOOD!
