Crema's Take

This beloved Guerneville breakfast spot wins hearts with genuinely warm service and a convivial atmosphere that makes you want to linger over coffee—regulars rave about the old-school charm and helpful servers who know how to make you feel welcome. While the food quality can be inconsistent, their Eggs Benedict with that silky mornay sauce shines, and the interesting menu keeps locals and visitors coming back for traditional breakfast and lunch done with care.

Best place we ate at in Guerneville! Great menu and server was very helpful. Great banter and atmosphere. Eggs Benedict was delicious! The mornay sauce was top notch! Highly recommended!

Very disappointing. The restaurant reeked of a sewage smell like their plumbing has backed up into the restaurant. It was bad enough that I didnt want to stay in there very long. On top of that the service was a complete let down. No "good morning" or "how are you?" when the staff came to the table just "do you know what you want?" and then after we ordered they simply walked away. We were never checked on or offered more coffee while we were eating. Between the stench and the poor service. SKIP IT.

Service was very very good Reason for the 4 total stars was due to the service with an old school smile. Food was ok freshly made but lacked flavor. Presentation was nice. Everyday place no problem, it will do.

We were on the way to visit Armstrong Forest and stopped in here for lunch. We chose Pat’s based on the amazing reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The menu is interesting and after seeing it, we understand the name of the diner. They have an ecelectic mix of nationalities highlighted on their menu. The items we chose, the Salmon BLT and their “KFC” (Korean Fried Chicken) Sandwich were pretty good. Their donut is amazing! The sauce and slaw on the KFC sandwich were incredible, flavors overall were great, but the chicken was just a little too thin. The fries that came with it was incredible! Save room for dessert and get that donut – WOW! The venue isn’t much to look at, except for the large map of the Russian River on the wall – which is really cool. Otherwise, it’s just a very dimly lit diner style restaurant that seems to have been last updated in the 70’s filled with picnic tables inside. But, it’s comfy enough to enjoy their amazing food, so stop in!

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: One of the few places in town to go get breakfast. The extended review... Food: Country Breakfast - 3.5/5 - It comes with a good amount of accompaniments for a decent price. Taste was standard fare and my stomach was happy. Doughnut - 3.5/5 - A standard cinnamon sugar donut. How can you go wrong? Service: 3.5/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 4/5 - It's definitely a different ambiance on the inside but definitely mimics the ambiance of the area.
