Crema's Take

Café del Soul is a gem in San Rafael that seamlessly blends quality coffee with an thoughtfully curated organic menu, earning particular acclaim for creative dishes like their curry quinoa quesadilla and Mediterranean-inspired bowls. The vibe here honors both the rushed coffee run and the lingering conversation—whether you're grabbing a quick espresso or settling in for a leisurely breakfast with family, the welcoming atmosphere and owner who genuinely engages with guests to explain vegan options makes everyone feel at home. It's the kind of place where ingredient quality matters as much as the care taken in each cup.

I had a bad experience with a worker who said his name was Jimmy. I did not like the way he treated me. He told me where to put my credit card to pay. It was obvious and he brought a fork and knife and said here is a fork and knife. His manner was bratty, nasty and insulting and he should be fired. The nachos were the worst I remember ever eating and the banana smoothly was good, but I rarely have smoothies.

One of the best places to eat in Marin. The curry quinoa quesadilla with chicken is absolutely amazing. I go there just to order that all the time. Delicious food with great ingredients

We didn’t even know we were walking into an organic restaurant, but Café Del Soul was everything we needed! The food was sooo delicious! I had the Vegetarian Mediterranean Muse, and Sara had the Nacho Del Sol, when I tell you it was sooo good, I mean sooo good! Their signature line “Made with love” is the real deal, you can literally taste it in every bite. Highly recommend!

Stopped here on the way to OAK from Medocino for some vegan lunch and they had a ton of options! Yay! The owner walked us through Walmart can be veganized which was so helpful. I had a curry rice and my husband had a cilantro quinoa and we kept switching back and forth with both us proclaiming that ours was better than the others. Truly a great (and delicious) experience!

Last time I had some nachos and smoothies qws from the Mill Valley store. I haven't ate any for almost 10 years so i was excited to try those nachos again and the banana smoothie!! Unfortunately the smoothie was ok, I would hope that for the price and size it would be much better than something I can make at home. It used to be very, very tasty but it wasn't the banana rama from planet juice is better in my opinion. The nachos were nice but nothing too special. I spend $26 but I would not come back though.
