The Magnificent Muffin & Bagel Shoppe

This is the kind of mom-and-pop coffee shop that makes you feel right at home. It’s super friendly, and everyone who works here is genuinely kind and welcoming. The vibe is cozy, like a little community hub, and you can tell a lot of us are regulars because it feels like family. Great coffee, great people, and a place you actually want to keep coming back to.

In some small towns, there are always many small shops near the train station where the food and ambiance can instantly transport you back to the classic memories of the 1980s. That feeling of traveling through time is truly magical.

BEST BAGELS IN THE AREA!! I’ve been on the hunt for my new local bagel shop and I just found it! The atmosphere and history when you walk, the massive muffins spilling over the top of the trays, the smell of fresh baked goods!!! Like come on!! This is what I’ve been looking for! And it’s cash only, that’s when you know!

Stopped for some magnificent muffins, literally. Walked in and was welcomed with the smell of great coffee and friendly faces. I loved the mom and pop vibe, family pictures on the wall, some Penn State swag! Love it. What really got to me was how kind and great the customer service was. Smiles, great help on picking some delicious muffins. The muffins are incredible but it really struck out to me how genuine the workers were. Seemed like they loved their job and the people around them, you can’t find that many places. I will become a new regular here!!

Cash Only!!! They let me bring money back which is kind! Really amazing selection of muffins, and my favorite was the red velvet chocolate chip. The muffins are not my favorite ever but are quite good (a caliber texture than I prefer), but the flavors are just so creative and tasty: Reese’s, triple berry, sour cream coffee cake, etc. They also have some really creative coffee flavors, and stash teas! Their bagels are from Wicked Bagels in Lexington. They are boiled and a little chewier than I usually like but the taste is on point. I also love that they make their eggs a little runny (I’m sure if you don’t like that you can ask), and they used like an entire avocado on the two eggs with avocado sandwich! Mmmmm Fully accessible but very busy! I’m sure you could call and have someone bring your food to a table out front if you couldn’t fit through the crowd. Plenty on metered on street parking.
