Tartine
5335 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
Crema's Take
“Tartine's LA outpost trades the original's legendary bread-making mystique for a more casual, patio-focused vibe where their famously excellent pastries and country loaves shine without the fuss. The drip coffee lands solidly in the middle ground, but people keep coming back for the croissants, egg sandwiches, and that addictive sliced country bread paired with a vanilla iced latte while you settle into their small outdoor seating area. It's a quick neighborhood grab that works equally well as a lingering breakfast spot, though fair warning—you're paying LA prices for the full Tartine experience.”
What to expect
Cold brew standout. A slow-sit, quick-grab spot, outdoor seating. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu.

You know, I have tried this place a few times and I have come to the conclusion that it is just overpriced facade. Their coffee is just “mid” and every time there’s just something annoying. This time it was quiche (which was sitting out for over 4 hours) they refused to reheat…
Had to come here to try the bread ! We ordered an almond croissant , a drip coffee and took home a load of country bread. Also had to try the egg sando . Drip coffee was decent ! The egg sando came with scrumptious bread and a yummy pickled carrot . It was really delicious ,…
Stopped by Tartine for their sliced country bread and vanilla iced latte. The shop is cute and all of their pastries looked delicious! Only outdoor seating.
The food and quality of products are consistent across all of Tartine’s locations. This is one of the newer locations, and it is pretty small. There is some outdoor seating area, which has a little bit of shade. comparatively speaking, the Santa Monica location has much better…
Delish start to our morning at Tarine. We sat on the patio, ordered lattes, a croissant and some sandwiches. Everything was great. The mushroom Reuben was super tasty and I loved the pickled carrot on the side. Would be thrilled to return.
