Crema's Take

This German-style café nails the classics—their blechkuchen and weekend cardamom coffee cake are the real deal, with reviewers consistently praising the care that goes into both the baking and the brew. Fair warning: pastries run around $7 each and prices lean premium compared to actual German bakeries, but if you're seeking authentic Central European coffee culture with a genuinely warm community vibe, the investment feels right. Come for a slow morning sit with fresh fruit tarts and excellent pretzels, ideally with someone you actually want to talk to.

Really not a good value for your money. If you are charging nearly $7 across the board for single pastries, they should taste good. I'd say so much as it better taste fantastic. Instead, the baked options here are quite disappointing, and not something that we finished.
