Crema's Take

Tucked away in a Hell's Kitchen basement, this spot punches way above its weight with carefully sourced beans and creative house drinks like the Space Cadet that keep regulars coming back. The cozy, unhurried vibe and genuinely warm staff make it feel like a secret worth keeping, whether you're diving into their coffee flight to explore different roasts or warming up with a matcha and one of their excellent pastries. It's the kind of place that transforms a quick caffeine run into an actual moment of calm in the city.

Really great beans they're working with. The coffee flight is a great price if you want to try a few things.

Great tucked away coffee stop in a basement level. Super chilled vibes, friendly team, solid flat white, and bangin vegan chewie chunkie cookie which they warmed up to boot. House coffee was Manipulator - Columbian washed, also great. My first proper flat white double 6-80z with micro foam?… Absolutely. Give ‘em some love 🙌🏻

Stopped in before leaving NYC right before close and loved how cozy and warm it was inside (: Had the Space Cadet + a snickerdoodle cookie! Thank you to Jude who was super nice and helped my boyfriend pick out some merch!

I was staying in a hotel nearby this coffee shop and decided to check it out. I was not disappointed! My sister enjoyed the caramel iced coffee she got, and I loved my strawberry matcha. I can tell they actually know how to make matcha here, and I was very happy about it!! The employees were also so nice and helpful. I would definitely come here again!

Nice little cafe located below the streets of Hell Kitchen - cosy, nice and warm. Staff is efficient and polite. Free flow water available. Limited seating capacity but works for small groups or individuals looking for a quick coffee fix while wandering through the streets of New York. Reasonably priced and quality is very decent! Superb alternative to Starbucks. Light bites and savory treats also available in a small mini bar section to go with your coffee. Highly recommended!
