For my birthday, I searched all over The Woodlands for the best brunch spot and landed on Ruah. It had very high ratings, the photos of the food looked great, and the vibe felt perfect. We went this morning and it was exactly the birthday brunch experience I was hoping for. The food is amazing. The coffee is amazing. The staff is amazing. The whole experience was seriously perfect. I had the New York and a pistachio Nutella latte, my fiancée had the Lyon and a chai latte, and we split the Capri. Then they brought a Buenos Aires with Happy Birthday written on the plate. The manager talked to us for a while about the history (and future) of the place. I loved the whole visit and am so glad we found Ruah. It’s a 30 minute drive for us but we will definitely be back. I’d give them 7 stars if I could.
My husband and I tried Ruah Café on a whim one morning and it was wonderful! They were out of most baked goods, but that wasn’t surprising considering it was a Sunday morning. The waitress recommended the Tokyo-LA with scrambled eggs, and it was very good. I ordered a lavender oatmilk latte and it was the right amount of sweetness mixed with espresso. The service was a little slow, but the waitress was managing the entire restaurant herself, so we couldn’t fault her for that. We’ll definitely be back, just a little earlier next time!
I met up with a friend that I hadn't seen in years. She suggested Ruah Cafe as she had been there previously and really enjoyed it - and I am ALWAYS looking for a new coffee shop to try. Ruah Cafe hit all the marks. Great coffees - I had the Nutella Pistachio Latte (she had her tried and true favorite, their Vanilla Latte. Great food - we both had the gourmet toasts. The New York for me and the Amsterdam for her. Both of which were apparently too good for me to remember to get a picture of before diving in! And we were so pleased with our server, Ale. She was amazing and so accommodating for these two gals who had so much to catch up on! Will definitely be back!!!
Cute coffee shop and breakfast place. There’s about a dozen tables. They serve coffee (I had a vanilla lavender latte that was delicious and beautiful). I also had the Tokyo to LA toast with eggs. The food was good and came out quickly. Friendly service. Would visit again!
Ruah Cafe is the place to be! First, the barista is gifted. I don’t mean good, I mean she can pull a puck like no tomorrow. The resulting vanilla latte, (in my case) or dirty chai, (in Liz’s case) is utterly delectable. The food is off the chart delicious! Liz and I had the Amsterdam. It is beautifully plated with crispy potatoes, fresh fruit and I am confident the hollandaise was made just for this dish. The side of avocado that we ordered was seasoned as well! The wait staff know the menu and are courteous as well as expedient, our plates were cleared quickly after we were done and we got just the right amount of attention. The atmosphere is clean, adequately lit, and nicely spaced, I get a Parisian vibe walking in the door! Liz and I will put this restaurant in the top of our rotation. It is a small concentrated menu and we look to working our way through it!
