Solid spot for delicious banh mi. The kind gentleman closed the door because he saw I was cold. Very clean restaurant. Seats about 8 inside along the wall and window. I will def be back to try everything else. Crunch Combo ($11.95) - Crispy outside and soft bread inside. Not crunchy where it cuts your mouth. Well-seasoned meat with mayo. My bf said it was the best banh mi he's ever had in SF.

This is the bahn mi you're looking for. We were in SF for 7 days and we ate here 3 times. The bread is lightly crispy on the outside (not sharp or hard) and soft on the inside, the vegetables are fresh, the meat is well-seasoned, and the sauce is balanced and delicious. This was all consistently true over our three visits. The service was fast each time we went and the gentleman who took our order was very friendly and personable. Support this small, local business and eat delicious food at the same time - easy choice!

I tried the Banh Mi Crunch and enjoyed it overall. Flavors were solid, and the chicken had a firmer, jerky‑like texture—unique, though not for everyone. Portion size and presentation met expectations. Service was friendly, and the casual counter‑style seating made for a relaxed atmosphere.

Ordered Crunch Combo and Lemongrass beef sandwiches. Cut them in half and shared half a sandwich each with a friend at Marina Green. Crunch has a thin veneer of delicious pate on the bottom bread. Bread was crispy on top and soft throughout which was easy to chew. Sometimes Banh mi bread makes my jaw ache from excessive chewing. The bread they use is fantastic. The only gripe is that there was a mouthful of gristle in my lemongrass beef, but otherwise, the sandwiches were delicious and composed well. I’ll definitely come back. Forget the others. So far, it’s my favorite/the best Banh mi I’ve tried in San Francisco.

Delicious sandwich, quick service. Ordered 3 Banh Mi and fries on phone. Walked 15 minutes to restaurant and the nice gentleman that works there was just walking out of kitchen with my order when I arrived. Perfect timing. The beef sandwich was my favorite, followed by combo, followed by chicken- all were great. We asked for extra pickled veggies on each sandwich- $1 charge per but worth it! The fries were crisp and well priced at $5, good portion. We wanted to order again tonight- but alas, we are to late! Next time! Thank you for the high quality food and great service, Banh Mi Crunch!
