Alfred Coffee

I don’t write reviews often, but Alfred absolutely deserves one. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, aesthetic, and effortlessly cool without feeling pretentious. The staff is genuinely friendly and moves with purpose — you can tell they care about what they’re making. The coffee? Consistently top tier. Smooth, balanced, and never burnt. Whether it’s a classic latte or one of their specialty drinks, everything tastes intentional and crafted, not rushed. Even the milk texture is on point every time. What really stands out is the consistency. No matter how busy it gets, the quality doesn’t drop. That’s rare. You’re not just paying for coffee — you’re paying for experience, atmosphere, and craftsmanship. Alfred isn’t just a coffee stop. It’s a place you actually look forward to going to.

Went here because I got a $20 gift card for my birthday. I know this place can be expensive, so I didn't think I'd be able to get much, but someone posted a photo of the pastries menu, so I was able to get 4 pastries which I'm quite happy about. I got 2 pain au chocolats, a chocolate chip cookie, and an almond croissant. When I unpacked them at home, I was so happy that I literally did a little dance. I did go over by $1 and tried to pay by cash, but the cashier said they didn't take cash, so I had to pay it by card. This place is more of a kiosk, so you can read the signs with the menu outside, or do what I did and look at the signs people posted on Google Maps ahead of time, then order at the little window. Afterwards, you go around to the side to wait for your order at the pick up window. I went around 8:30 in the morning and there were already around 4 people waiting for their orders ahead of me. It's all very casual and in the short time I was there, I saw and petted 3 dogs, and had small talk with one of the dog owners. Parking here is free on the side streets and easier than its other locations, but even then I still had to park at the very end of the block and walk back to the kiosk. There are also a bunch of yellow curbs which mean drop off or pick up of passengers only, but I still saw people park there anyway. There are a few bistro tables, chairs, and umbrellas if you'd like to eat and drink at the spot, but for the most part, most of us picked up our orders and took them home.

We had such a great experience at Alfred’s! I had an iced strawberry matcha with non-dairy cold foam (not many places have it so I was stoked!!!) and a vanilla latte, plus a croissant and vegan muffin (also stoked!). Everything was delicious 😋 It was my boyfriend’s birthday so the lovely gal at the counter gave him his latte on the house. 10/10 experience!

I had an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. It was pretty sweet, but overall it was good, and the service was great.

Visited about a week ago. The worker who took my order was so nice. I didnt hear her calling out my name when my matcha latte was ready, and she came out and handed me the latte with a big smile. It was the first time for me to visit Alfred chain store, and this experience made me visit other Alfred branches too! Also the matcha latte was good !
