This Grounds location has always been the best ever since I was in Junior High School. They also just remodeled and it’s really nice! I continue to meet clients and family here as a meeting place, and will always support my local coffee shop!
I come here Thursday and Friday nights and the girl working is always super friendly and helpful! Coffee’s good and the pork burritos are great!
I bought a gift card for a friend at the Layton location and when they went to pay with it at the 30th street location they were told it was only good for the 12th street location. They had to get a ride to the 12th street location, which is permanently closed so I bought a gift card that is unusable!!! I could forgive the gift card mistake, but the reason for the one star review is that they had already made the coffee and rather than just give it to him they made him drive to a closed location. Insanity! I will not be supporting this business any longer. There are many other local coffee shops with decent customer service.
The rudest staff I have ever come across!! Especially the middle ages guy with round glasses…seriously he has worked there forever and gets worse every time I go in. The owners are lovely but the staff is an absolute nightmare. Every question is met with hostility and an eye roll. There’s too many other local, friendly options. Don’t bother with this one!
Really great price for a hammerhead! Clean, uncrowded, and excellent value for your budget. The staff were friendly and quick to whip up my java selection. You can wait in line for an overpriced coffee somewhere else or get it done the right way here. I walked out with a delicious caffeine drink and still had money in my pocket! Great selection of magazines and books to read. A few games too. Nice lounge and patio. And an awesome sticker machine to support local artists.
