Crema's Take

Tucked into the historic Landmark Center lobby with views across Rice Park, Jenni's Café brings genuine warmth to downtown St. Paul with carefully crafted coffee and creative signature drinks that clearly resonate with both quick visitors and lingering work-from-cafe regulars. Tried stopping in here for a coffee and a quick to go order. Maybe the other food is good but the “Quinoa Rice Bowl” was basically a salad with quinoa sprinkled over the top. No rice and very little quinoa. Y’all should think about adjusting the name and menu for this dish. Inaccurate, underwhelming and disappointing.

Here’sJenni’s Café is such a lovely new addition to downtown St. Paul. Located right across from Rice Park in the lobby of the Landmark Center, it’s already bringing a warm and welcoming energy to the area. It’s owned by a husband-and-wife team, which you can truly feel in the care and intention behind the space. The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, and everything looks thoughtfully curated with quality ingredients. During my visit, I ordered a Spanish latte and a chocolate chip cookie—both were standout. The coffee was easily some of the best I’ve had in a while, and the cookie was served warm, soft, and absolutely melted in your mouth. I’ll definitely be back for that again soon. The café itself has a beautiful, inviting seating area, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It feels like a place you want to linger in. My only critique is that they’re not currently open on weekends. As a downtown resident, I would love to see the community show up and support this business enough for them to expand their hours and thrive seven days a week. Overall, a fantastic spot with so much potential—highly recommend stopping in!
