Shipley Do-Nuts

The display of donuts I seen that Sunday morning made me glad I choose Shipley... we only got a 1/2 dozen but the selections was hard. We did fine a new family favor.... maple 🍁 dipped! Close second was the coconut dipped donut.

I rarely eat doughnuts because i prefer to eat healthy. However, we all can use a doughnut to brighten our day. I ordered two glazed cake doughnuts. I got home and threw both in the trash. The doughnuts were not fresh at all. The doughnuts tasted hard, old, and dry. I asked the window agent if the doughnuts were fresh and she said...yeah made this morning. No worries...won't be back. The food or bag smelled like cigarettes. Price. $3.20

Deceptive pricing. Their online menu said a dozen donuts was $9. And door dash was $12. I was charged $17 plus tax plus tip! I spent $23 on a dozen half glazed and half chocolate iced. I will definitely not coming back. Royal donut down the road is fresher and better pricing!

I’m pretty sure the donuts they gave me came out of the refrigerator, those things were colder than a penguins toe nail. Sad as this is my first bad experience with Shipleys ever. Will not return to this location.

I am writing this review because I hope to visit here again some day when I am on that side of town. Before my grandfather passed on May this was his favorite donut shop to bring us to. He brought us for over 20 years & they have always been delicious especially their kolaches & drinks. I remember he & I would come every week & buy a donut & sit in the parking lot & eat it. I miss this place & hope it still tastes the same. I would love to enjoy a treat with my family in his memory ❤️
