Crema's Take

This cozy Olmos Park gem defies its name as a genuine destination for lingering over excellent, affordably-priced coffee in a warm, plant-filled space with mid-century charm. Owner Jerry has cultivated a genuinely welcoming atmosphere where regulars rave about both the traditional drinks and the quality light bites like avocado toast, making it equally perfect for catching up with friends or settling in for a focused work session. At half the price of typical specialty coffee shops without compromising quality, it's the kind of neighborhood spot that keeps people returning and wishing they'd discovered it sooner.

I went there for the first time today after passing it by so many times. I wanted to take my mom there for a while and didn't get the chance to; My mom would have loved it. Jerry is very kind and friendly; his coffee is amazing, and the cafe, while cozy, is very lively. I ordered a bean and cheese taco a cafecito con leche and a capuchino with caramel. This place is definitely somewhere I’d go to again with my partner, a friend, and an older lady neighbor I met when we first moved, because even if I couldn’t take my mom, I wanna take others here. After all, it’s very welcoming and lively. Thank you so much (photos were taken at home when I go again I'll add more ) Edit : we tried other things and they were equally as delicious ; he remembers all his customers. Iv also added more photos

wonderful warm, cozy, semi-mid-century-modern interior decor with lots of plants and art on the walls + comfortable seating. great for catching up with friends or for settling down to read or do work. i ordered a cortado and the espresso was creamy, rich, and smooth, as well as not too acidic, which is how i prefer my espresso. learned about the quality espresso machine (gaggia milano) as well as where the owner Jerry sources many of his products. had a great time chatting with him and another regular, and am excited to return!

Contrary to the name, it's a great place to sit. Jerry has done a great job with the space he has. The coffee price is great too. It's about half what other coffee shops charge, but I'd argue a fair price. 50mb download not super fast but fast enough to work I'd say. Great parking outside and they had a table set up outside.
