Crema's Take
“Genesis Coffee House & Eatery feels like a beloved neighborhood secret tucked into Lexington's shopping strips, where the welcoming atmosphere and personable service make you feel like a regular from your first visit. Their expansive breakfast menu goes beyond the basics—think hearty platters like Grandma Cora's and The Old Kentucky Home alongside simple egg and cheese biscuits—paired with thoughtfully crafted traditional coffee drinks that invite you to linger over conversation. It's the kind of place where families and friends naturally gather to slow down and connect over genuinely good food and coffee.”

My mom and I were really excited to try out this cafe, the menu looked yummy and had decent reviews. When we got to the cafe the lights were off and the place was not open- super disappointing :/. Please update ur hours or have a voicemail set up indicating that ur not open. We ended up getting coffee at another location.
**Been over a week now, still haven’t received a refund nor have I had a SINGLE PHONE CALL be answered. Give this business your money at your own risk. They clearly don’t care. They don’t answer the phone, or update their business hours, or turn off online ordering when they are closed. Been waiting on a $50 refund for almost a week now, not a word from anyone. I’ve called over 20 times in the last two days alone. Not a SINGLE answer the entire time.
Food and service were excellent! We had Grandma Cora’s and The Old Kentucky Home Breakfast, both were quite tasty!
Tucked away in a small shopping strip is gem of a brunch and coffee shop. There is an expansive menu, from a simple egg and cheese biscuit to many variations of breakfast platters. My egg and cheese biscuit was delicious, the biscuit wasn’t too thick like some places. I got a flavored latte with Carmel and vanilla. Delicious, I’ll be back!!
Diamond 💎 In The Rough!!! I just so happened to stumble across this small very personalable eatery. 1st and foremost I just love the welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. The lady who took my order was extremely nice and was patient as looked at the menu and ordered my food. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant with seasoned potatoes. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. The potatoes was seasoned to perfection and tender. The croissantwas great as well. This is definitely a nice little brunch/lunch spot. The mango lemonade was delicious as well.
