The Spicy Bean Lab Cafe

I loved the flavor of the real banana in their banana matcha. Usually places use a syrup or a very sweet pudding but this was a real banana and exactly what I look for in a banana matcha. And they used very rich high quality matcha. The only thing was that the whisking technique could have been a bit better because I still saw and tasted some matcha clumps. The staff were very friendly and made nice conversation with our group. They recommended us a nearby, local beach called Woods Cove, which was beautiful. Overall, I’d go again.

Visiting from nyc & since I’m still on EST time decided to watch the sunrise, no where else was open so dropped in and was welcomed by the amazing owner. Everything was delicious! Vegan cinnamon roll was to die for and I wouldn’t have known it was vegan if I wasn’t told. I also got to have a great conversation with the owners husband and daughter. All around a great cafe and family. Go support!

Amazing cold brew with cream top! I had lavender cold brew with black sesame cream top and it was amazing! The owner was so friendly, welcoming and her passion for making amazing and sharing beautiful tasty things really shines through.

stopped by on our beach visit, saw that they newly opened. space is small but cozy and cute. staffs are very friendly and helpful when i wanted my cream top to be separated and unsweetened and kept checking with us if we wanted to adjust anything. matcha base is premade so it couldn't be entirely unsweetened but it's pretty good. surprisingly love their butterscotch cold brew, very refreshing and earthy. had a chance to talk to the owner, sampled me matcha latte to my liking that's really nice of them and it tasted very good! such a nice finds during our time in laguna beach and definitely will come back!

We came for their soft opening and everything was DELICIOUS! We loved supporting them at the Tustin farmers market. They have unique drinks and flavors and they are amazing! We got the matcha with ube cold foam and butterscotch cold brew with pandan cold foam. Matcha is strong and ube is prominent with the perfect sweetness. Cold brew is very tasty and pandan is slightly sweet and balance is perfect. Mochi waffles with Nutella had the perfect chewy texture with the cute bear design. The croissants were buttery and flakey and so delicious! All the flavors were different and there are options for everyone! The service was spectacular and all the staff was extremely sweet! This family owned business amazing and we highly recommend coming to support!!
