Crema's Take
“Tucked into Albuquerque's Nob Hill neighborhood, this serene tea sanctuary specializes in authentic loose-leaf selections with genuine expertise, from delicate Bi Luo Chun greens to complex high-mountain oolongs that staff can speak to with real knowledge. The vibe strikes that perfect balance between quick affordable sips (around $2 for to-go cups) and lingering afternoons over proper tea service, all wrapped in a genuinely zen atmosphere that keeps customers coming back—both online regulars and first-time visitors are struck by the warmth and welcoming nature of the space. Whether you're hunting for the perfect tea to take home or settling in to slow down, this is the kind of place where the owners clearly care about both the craft and making you feel at home.”

I highly recommend this store not only for the quality of the tea and the serene beautiful atmosphere, but also the friendliness of the staff. We tried the afternoon tea for the month of June. If you get a chance to book this experience it is not only incredibly creative and delish, but I was blown away by the quality of what we received for the price. It is by far the best price for afternoon tea in ABQ. I cannot wait to see what menu they put together for the month of July!
What a gem of a place! If you want authentic tea and teaware, this is the place to go. My wife has been buying from The Fragrant Leaf (online) since they opened. This was our first time visiting in person. They were so kind and knowledgeable.
Great small tea place. They sell hot or iced cups of tea-to-go for around $2. They have a wide variety of teas to choose from ranging from black to white, all of which are available for purchase in loose leaf format. The owners are very friendly and are fun to talk to! They also sell various tea equipment, such as Japanese tea cups, tea pots, and matcha bowls. I would definitely recommend this place for most things tea related!
This is the most zen-like place you can find in Nob Hill. They have a great selection of loose-leaf teas and know their teas. I love their Bi Luo Chun green tea and Li Shan high mountain oolong tea. They have really cute Japanese teapots. Highly recommended!
One of the best places in ABQ for authentic, good tea! Great People! Very Friendly, Knowledgeable, and welcoming!
