Sightglass Coffee

Sightglass Coffee is easily one of my favorite spots in the city, and after my recent visit, I can confidently say it’s the perfect place for both casual hangouts and business meetings. The moment you walk in, you’re met with a warm, creative atmosphere—clean, modern, and relaxed enough to sit for hours without feeling rushed. The space has that perfect balance of lively energy and calm work-conducive vibes, which made it a great spot for my meeting. Their drink selection is where Sightglass really shines. The coffee is bold, rich, and full of flavor—clearly roasted with precision and care. I tried their latte and was blown away by how smooth and balanced it was, no bitterness at all. You can taste the quality in every sip. They also offer a variety of teas, cold brews, and seasonal drinks if you want to try something different. Everything on the menu feels curated with intention. Their food menu is a major win too. A great mix of pastries, breakfast plates, and small bites to snack on while working or catching up. I tried their drip coffee and a cappuccino, and both were incredibly well-balanced and full of flavor. They also have a great selection of teas, specialty drinks, and cold brews for anyone who wants something outside the usual. Everything feels fresh, clean, and consistent. The food menu is another highlight. Sightglass has a great mix of bakery items and light meals that pair perfectly with their drinks. The pastries were fresh and buttery, and you can tell they don’t cut corners with quality. I appreciated the variety—whether you’re in the mood for something sweet, savory, or healthy, they have options that don’t disappoint. It’s easy to grab something quick, but also easy to sit down and enjoy a full moment with your food. What really stood out was how comfortable and convenient the location was for a professional meeting. The seating is well spaced, the environment isn’t too loud, and the staff keeps everything clean and organized. We were able to talk, brainstorm, and work without feeling rushed or interrupted. It’s rare to find a café that has both a strong creative vibe and the functionality of a business-friendly.

I went in to grab a cup of coffee before my shift and I loved the vanilla iced coffee after my first sip so I decided to buy a Quart of it. The price on the bottle said $20 but they proceeded to charge me $25, when I asked why she just apologized; said it was a price error and couldn’t honor the price tag and said that I didn’t have to get it… A bit disappointing but now I know to be more careful looking at prices on display and at checkout.

Cool space with big “we mean business” energy. My iced matcha latte was just okay, the oat milk overpowered the matcha, it could definitely be stronger. They’ve got a nice pastry lineup, though I didn’t try anything. Staff wasn’t rude, just very “get your coffee and go” kinda vibe, not the most welcoming. Not bad, just not a place I’d go out of my way for.

What happened to sightglass? The food used to be so good! The coffee is decent. The pastries are average. We ordered the Asian bowl: so bland and dry, pretty disgusting. And also had the Caesar salad with very little dressing mixed in. I gave them an extra star because we were able to bring our dog to the read outdoor space. The food pix look good but they both taste awful.

Sight Glass in West Hollywood is a delight, stylish atmosphere, beautifully brewed coffee, and friendly baristas make every visit enjoyable. Drinks are expertly crafted and smooth. It’s on the pricey side, but the quality and ambiance justify it. I especially appreciated the latte art and cozy seating, perfect for catching up with a friend or getting work done. A four‑star experience overall, excellent coffee, great vibes; just be ready to spend a bit more than average.
