Crema's Take

Cafe Ruisseau is a Sunday ritual kind of place where R&B floats through a bright, welcoming space and baristas greet you like they actually mean it—the kind of spot where you'll find regulars camped out with laptops, lesson plans, or just good thoughts for hours on end. Their espresso and pour overs are handled with care, and they go the extra mile with homemade syrups like their pumpkin puree, showing they're thinking beyond the standard specialty drink playbook. It's the rare coffee shop that nails both productivity and pure relaxation, making it feel less like a caffeine transaction and more like coming home.

I’ve been coming to this coffee shop almost every Sunday for the past four years, and I absolutely love its welcoming, friendly atmosphere. I always feel productive here—whether I’m lesson planning on my laptop or catching up with a friend. The tall ceilings, outdoor seating, and beautiful natural light make it the perfect spot for both socializing and studying. Most importantly, their oat milk matcha latte is one of the best in town—consistently a 10/10 with perfect microfoam every time! Thank you, Café Ruisseau, for being my go-to place to get computer work done. You truly rock! Special shout-out to the amazing baristas, especially Jacob and Tony!

Finally got to try this coffee shop and it did not disappoint! When I walked in, I immediately felt at ease when I heard R&B playing in the background and I was greeted by all the friendly baristas. I tried the seasonal cookie butter cold brew and it was *chef’s kiss!!* I loved having this option so I could have a cream top drink without it being too milky/sweet like lattes can be. THANK YOU for being a BIPOC owned/friendly establishment in a predominantly unseasoned area of LA (iykyk lol).

I got their pumpkin spiced latte and they mentioned that they made their own pumpkin puree syrup - and I absolutely loved it. But it wasn’t until I stopped by Starbucks the other day to get a pumpkin spiced latte I realize Ruisseau’s drinks are truly authentic and amazing 🫶🏻

Nice coffee shop in an office park. The space is bright, open, simple and clean, the atmosphere is very relaxing. I had a cappuccino and it was average, nonetheless I had a great time chilling out in the outdoor area. Would love to check out their barista specials when I come back another time.
